Been aware of this place due to its fun name - decided to stop by today and it was nice to be offered bun and cheese options. I'm sure many guys would quickly make this their go-to van.
Loads of free sauce options too!
If you want generous portions of hot, fresh-fried fast food, this is a great option. I had a double cheeseburger with grilled onions and small fries, enjoyed it very much and left happy with a full stomach. They offered a choice of bun (seeded or brioche), and a choice of cheese (c'mon, always go for that slice of synthetic stuff!). The construction of the burger was spot on and the browning of the burger patties provided a lot of delicious umami flavour. The prices are higher than shown in the current photos on the Google Maps profile, but they're still good value. It's an easy walk from the Boulders East climbing gym, the trampoline place, and the nearby shops. The 'two guys' are friendly. They provide lots of self-serve sauce options, and wooden cutlery if you don't want to get your hands greasy.
The surrounding area (road, pavement) needs a good clean with a litter picker and a pressure washer. There are wooden benches for seating, but you wouldn't want to be there on a cold day, plus the seagulls can poop freely on them, so just check before sitting... most people eat in their cars. Parking was ample - immediately alongside the van and 10 seconds walk down the road.
I have now visited 2 guys on a few occasions and I can tell you now you will not be disappointed with their food, the lads working on the burger van are very friendly and easy to get on with.
I highly recommend the double cheeseburger with bacon and onions ????

I'm not from Cardiff and stumbled on this place after getting directions for Newport Road from Google so I thought I'd give it a go and I'm glad I did. The guys serving were super friendly and welcoming, I had a cheese burger with bacon as part of a meal deal. The burger was tasty and the chips nice and crispy and most importantly it was piping hot! I will definitely be making my way there again!

I been twice at two guys and it’s amazing good options mega friendly staff food is perfect every time my go to place now if you haven’t been don’t wait it’s phenomenal also loved meeting the king there Elvis deffo the boss haha all the fast food around and honestly this wins hands down
