Our first time at a seafood boil and it was really good. The gumbo was outstanding!!! The fried lobster tail (my first one ever) was soooo good !!!! and the vegetables (corn and potatoes) were fab. Our waiter DAVE was attentive and nice. Very efficient. We love the location, the ambiance and the decor. Great job guys… we enjoyed ourselves.
This was a really nice dinner, the food was delicious, fresh and hot. The service a was excellent. Our serve was helpful in explain the menu and how to order. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time.
Unfortunately, were out of some of the dishes we wanted to try (lobster roll and Gumbo) ... But I would visit again and would recommend if you're looking for good seafood and seafood boils ????
The food is just as I remembered when I came years ago when the special was popular just a bag of seasoning. I only went because my two young nieces wanted seafood as I promised them. We were seated right away and the wait for the food wasn’t long but the food we received was I guess what I paid for. We had the special with garlic butter sauce which only taste like salt no garlic at all. We didn’t receive any water or crab crackers but was charged gratuity for whatttt??? We shared 2 waiters with the entire restaurant.
I will never patron this restaurant again. I’ve heard so much about it over the years and I’ve even purchased the frozen bags and sauce from the store. I sat down with my family of 3 , and orders one crab bag , 6 wings and a lobster roll.
We were seated pretty quickly but waited 20 minutes to even be acknowledged. There were only 2 male waiters for the whole restaurant. After ordering , I got my food . The lobster was very overcooked.
I informed the waiter that the lobster was rubbery , and I didn’t care for it. He insisted on informing the manager even though I said it’s cool . She came out with a blue wave cap on and asked “what’s the problem”? I explained that taste of the food she looked at me as if I was speaking Korean. I said I don’t need money back I’m simply giving feedback . She abruptly says ok and walks away. When my daughter finally got her seafood bag (took 30 minutes), her corn is always over cooked and chewy and her egg and crab legs are barely warm.
As an African American woman I am always advocating for and supporting our business and community efforts. But we need to hold each other accountable as well. Customer service is consistently an oversight at our establishments. No one managing a restaurant should be walking around in a durag it is extremely unprofessional. As well , how you receive and handle customer dissatisfaction. It should be with some level of poise and recourse NEVER dismissive . To top it off the bills came out to over $100 , extremely over priced for the level of service and food we received . Clearly the service has declined . I hope they reinvest in some proper training as well as the facility as the white walls were full of splatters and spills ( like a soup kitchen).
Long time customer, very sad to say good bye.
Family ran business great concept, however the mother managing the establishment is damaging the business productivity, astomphere, supplies, food inventory, and costing the company big on customer service.
I witnessed the managing yell at customers and tell them don't come back. When things like this happens the 1st thing I think about is that could be me.
Same visit, moments later the owner come in the manager attitude became better. But the customers where gone. Our food wasn't right, we was just willing to pay and not return because we didn't want to Subject to what we saw. The owner saw we hadn't touched our food. We didn't notice she looked at our food and immediately confirmed it wasn't made correctly.
Rebound! between her and DJ the waiter great come back food was remade and tasted awesome.
Yesterday we was riding pass decided to give it another go. The mother was greeting , and answering the phones. We stood 15 min before DJ walked pass asked if we was dining in we said yes. Waited for a table for 2 from 8pm to 9:23 pm. Now we are pressed to order because the restaurant closes at 10. No worries we was ready to order.
Basic order 2 bags garlic butter lemon pepper one hot one extra hot , and 20 hot wings. The wings was fresh great job!
The bag was a fail full of hot pepper and water .
We could see the issue so we just asked for a bag of garlic butter we could add to the bags.
DJ was very apologetic in tried to reason with the manager yup the mother. She never came to the table but we could hear her conversation. Now at this point I'm ready to go. We asked for the bill, just to pay and go. Instead she sent DJ back to the table to request the food back. So here we sit after 2 1/2 hours of waiting for food having to leave and eat else where. I paid the 23.00 for the wings tipped DJ . 2 bags of food was thrown in the garbage because we heard the manager say they just want something for free take the bags. ???? WE ASKED FOR GARLIC BUTTER NOT A COMP ON THE BILL MY WIFE NOR I AM CAME LOOKING FOR DRAMA WE CAME TO HAVE A LATE NIGHT MEAL AFTER A LONG FLIGHT HOME. BE MINDFUL THE CUSTOMER CAN HEAR YOU. THE RESTAURANT LOST MONEY IN EVERY ASPECT BEHIND THIS. NO CUSTOMER IN THEIR RIGHT MIND COMES TO A RESTAURANT EXPECTING NOT TO PAY FOR WHAT THEY CAME FOR.
SO AT THIS POINT WE WILL NOT COME BACK.
I HOPE THIS REVIEW REACHES THE OWNER AND COULD BE USED AS A TEACHING MOMENT ON HOW THE RESTAURANT TOOK A BIG LOSS ALL AROUND.

I never had such a horrible experience in a restaurant before. I was really excited to try this place because of the reviews and hype on instagram. The wait time was long so because the place was full, I had to convince my husband to stay because I thought the food might be worth the wait, even though we were sat in a wobbly table . Well we spend 2 hours and a half and we never got our food. We were completed ignore by the waitress whom never got our drinks, I asked for water and he just gave us two cups with ice. We arrived at 7pm and by 9:30pm we never got our food, we just got up and left, paid for just the lobster tail we got and left. Very frustrating.
