I used to live up that way many years ago and remember having Turkish coffee with the guys, even being taught to make the coffee out back. The food was always great back then and it’s a testament to how long they have been going. Big shout out to my old friends from Big Tony.
We ordered chicken shish to take away what comes with bread, sauces and salad(onion, cucumber, tomato, lemon, lettuce) . We liked it. Thanks. ; )
Absolute shambles.. should be ashamed of the tiny amount of food provided. Ordered over £30 worth of food, large chips came literally about 15 bits, about 5 strips of lamb doner per portion, lamb shish over cooked and dry… but got plenty of salad couldn’t even close the box. You will never get my money again and I will ensure you spread my experience with everyone I know in the area living here for over 20 years.

Chips was the big problem. We want fat chips, crispy outside and soft inside. Your chips was dripping in oil. Curry sauce Is to thick.
I recommend reducing portion size for everything it's too much but give us proper quality good food.
Cod fish batter flavour is very nice but its too thick and overcooked.
All you need to do is make small improvements and you will get 5star.
I will change review to 5 star in future if food changes.
Enjoyed our first time visiting- really big portions and yummy, next time we’ll get fish and chips. Only downfall is a bit pricey
We have used this fish bar ever since we moved to the area 20 years ago.
I can safely say that the lovely people who run and own it now have been the best since we have been using it.
They have been there for a number of years now and we have never had any reason to complain, any food we have had is top notch. Sometimes the chips can be hit and miss, but that does depend on if you have the last serving of the current batch. Everything is cooked to order and their chicken is amongst the best I have ever tasted.
It is a personal preference and it does help that the owners know me and my mum, but I can't see how anyone would have issues with them. The food is really too good for the price they charge, they do not skimp on portions, almost like serving a restaurant meal.
People may say I'm biased but if anyone in the area wants a quick, cheap, easy to eat and fill you up meal, this is the place to come.
Always fresh just cooked food. Never just sitting under the hot plate. Kebabs are hot and fresh. For 5 stars the salad needs some red cabbage which looks and taste great. Customer service is always on point and deliver men are very funny.
