This place was really busy, but the young teen girls serving patrons their burgers and ice cream were delightful and kind. It’s a fun stop and the food was quite good! My husband had a double cheeseburger basket with fries and a root beer. He said it was great, and I have to agree about my grilled chicken sandwich, with a lightly toasted bun. It was better than expected and of very good quality.
Such a fun place to go! We will have to come back in the day time to check the museum out! We stopped after dark for a burger, fries, and ice cream. It was all delicious. Definitely worth the stop.
We stoped at the Twisted Treat in the beginning a May, 2023. It was a nice roadside attraction. The sculptures we all pretty good. The Harley Davidson muffler man stands prominent overlooking the highway with lots of his buddies. There is a space ship, hippopotamus, tricycle, and of course the pink elephant. I felt bad for mr. giraffe. He has been blown over and damaged. Hopefully the will be be brought back to health soon.
The dinner itself is an old style dinner. It's pretty well done. The young laddies serving us, did a great job. They were friendly and efficient . My food was pretty good. All in all, I would recommend a stop and visit.
What a fun stop off the highway! A great spot for a pit stop on a roadtrip. Lots of outdoor sculptures and decor to see and take photos of. We got some ice cream treats, which were good. They had a lot of choices of typical diner food. I would stop here again!
Great place to eat after shopping.
It has all the trappings of a 1950s diner, with additional decoration for immersion. Its swirling ice cream cone storefront catches the eye.
The food is very reasonably priced, and was much better than I was expecting. Many of these throwback diners have average or terrible food, but this one was a surprise.
The food here was PHENOMENAL!!! They misheard me when ordering but very quickly fixed the mistake and brought the right food. Both of the girls working we're absolutely awesome. The entire place was extremely clean and super cool to look at! The ice cream was super yummy too. I wish we lived close, I'd definitely be in here very often!
Delicious ice cream place with a lot of unique flavored ice creams. They also have food like sandwiches, basket meals, sides, and salads. For dessert, they also offer funnel cakes but I got their Worms and Dirt Twistee Special. I liked how the gummies were not hard and chewy. The atmosphere was also good. They decorated the place like an old ice cream parlor.
Route 66 interesting place. The food was basic and ice cream a bit expensive. The service was good and waiter had a pleasant and outgoing manner.
