Best KPortal Reviews

What a great place! Had the salmon Cesar salad and it was fantastic. They also have $5 Old Fashions. This is a must go to. The waitresses and bartenders are so nice. This cheesecake is absolutely fantastic!!! Our bartender Kiyara suggested it and she hit it out of the park!!
I had lunch there 2 times this week. I had appetizers both time. The triple play with fried pickles is a big thumbs up. The other meal was brisket caso dip, and billion dollar bacon. Both were terrific! They also offer a military discount. Everyday has a different drink special and with 6 bartends we never waited for a refill, even if it was an empty glass of water. Special thanks to Briana, Kiyeura, Lasy, and Melissa! Great bartenders!!!
Since my first review, I have visited several more times, and I feel it is necessary to edit my original review. Right off the bat, the customer service is horrible, absolutely horrible! I have visited at least 20 times and every visit I experience, or I watch other people experience unnecessarily long wait times at the bar. The bartenders see new people approach the bar and just choose to ignore them for 10 - 15 minutes. They can at least give a quick greeting and say I'll be right with you. This happens when the restaurant isn't even busy. It is a common problem that all my friends notice as well. During my last visit, I was at a table and heard a man approach the manager stating, "It has been 35 f#$king minutes, and we can't get a beer at the bar." This issue is growing out of control and will eventually lead to the downfall of this restaurant. On another recent visit we had a very large party. I am aware they do not take reservations but wanted to give them a heads up a few hours before our visit. I talked to the assistant manager, who did not want to accommodate us at all. Basically, he tried to talk me out of coming. We arrived around 5:30 with a party of 18. The hostess advised me it would be an hour and advised me they would try to get us tables near each other. Several of us went to the bar, and a few people had to stand since there was not enough seating. The bartenders were serving walk ups at the other side of the bar. The manager came up to my friend and said "this isnt that type of bar! I told my bartenders not to serve you! You have to be seated to be served. " My friend advised him he never even attempted to order a drink.. the manager said everyone could go wait by the door. Now, there were already other people waiting by the door, so there was not nearly enough room for everyone to wait in a 5-foot doorway. The manager continued around the bar advising other patrons they weren't going to be served. This is another issue that needs to be resolved. Either you make a proper waiting area or start accepting reservations for parties larger than 12 people. The entire experience ended up being a complete train wreck with people getting cold wings, missing appetizers, and incorrect bills. This place needs a saving grace at this point! If they continue to operate like this, I dont see it lasting much longer.
Everything was great! First time at a Twin Peak location and our waitress Irie did a great job and was so kind & made the experience a 10/10. also, so beautiful! food was also 10/10. great service, great waitress. cant wait to return.
The atmosphere was great, service was okay. We were sat around 6:30; but didn’t receive food until 8. A friend with us never received a meal by the time we left. Our food was not good at all. Steaks were over cooked, buns were stale, all of the orders were wrong, and the wings were so drenched in so much sauce it was sickening. I’ve never had this bad of an experience. Do not recommend at all. If the service and food were better it would be a place to frequent. Overall very disappointed.
I went when it first opened and I have to say I am absolutely IN LOVE with the atmosphere. The waitresses are always smiling and happy to help with anything. Specifically my waitress, Missy, was personable, attentive, genuine, and absolutely in tune with her customers! She did an awesome job. Definitely recommend the restaurant, and if you have the privilege of having Missy for your waitress, you’re in for a wonderful evening! Thanks ladies!
Twin Peaks is the latest addition to the 224 strip of eats, taking over the long gone TGI Fridays location near the 680 ramps. It was tastefully redone to emulate a wild game cabin or lodge, with a hostess stand, followed by a large bar when entering, surrounded by a multitude of large flat screens displaying various sports. The Twin Peaks is actually a play on words for....well.... breasts. Of which, all of the women are scantily clad in short shorts and a flannel top with a deeeep V to promote the cleavage.
Now on to the important bits, the service, food, and libations. Service is mediocre, as most of the girls are much younger and somewhat inexperienced in waitressing or knowing how to manage a bar. That said, all were friendly, if not a bit slow in service and attention. Having visited at dinner rush and also a slower lunch, the wait was 25m or more from ordering to get food. Drink service was also not expeditious, and their 3 in house branded beers on tap were nothing to write home about, but did quench the palate. Food quality is mediocre as well, as was presentation. It's a twist on classic bar foods you will find at any other well known sports bars. Clientele in both of my visits consisted of 90% older males, all looking to ogle and make moves on the girls half their age. That may or may not bother some. Overall, it's another place to eat that has some potential to grow and improve, if not a bit rough around the edges at current.
Went in tonight for a couple drinks and had a great experience! Sophie, the bartender, provided excellent customer service. Food was delicious and the drinks were cold. I’ll definitely be back.
