Meme is amazing! Great job & service! Made sure my pedicure was everything i wanted and more.
As a woman of color I entered the business and wasn’t greeted until after standing there a couple of minutes. I picked out my pedicure of choice. The woman tried to avoid giving me the pedicure I selected by NOT scrapping my feet with the cheese grater type utensil. I mentioned it to her then she picked it up to use it. A white couple entered and the entire staff turned into slaves for these people offering drinks, massages, nail polishes etc including the person working on my feet. Keep in mind I was never offered anything to drink or given the same treatment as the three white people who entered. It’s so much more I’ll like to write but nobody wants to read long reviews. I’ll just take my business where I am appreciated. I will NEVER come back here again!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would, they are horrible and are not nice to people, I just moved in this area and last week was my third and last time coming here. Every time I said I wanted a service, they felt the need to tell me how much it was going to cost they even made prices up I wanted a overlay on my toes and they said $50 ..... That's ridiculous it does not even cost that much to get an overlay on your nails and then when I paid the lady was extremely rude, my nails and feet look a mess and I paid $126 for both, I am so upset and as bad as I wanted to go back up there and treat them how they treated me I decided to take the higher road, I just will not ever return back here again. ( I attached a picture, My nails that were just done on Wednesday 2/8/2017 and this is suppose to be Shellac)
My first time walking into this place. There is a reason this place was empty. Be sure the ask them their prices because the menu prices are supposedly not correct, specifically the gel, opi, and shellac manicures, which are listed as $30 but customers are being charged $35. False advertising or are they skimming off the top. According to the technician, the owner hasn’t ordered new menus. I left before they got started. It felt shady.
They took so long to do a simple pedicure and left me sitting there to go start on another client for 20 mins before applying my polish & my nails are uneven
I just visited for the first time today, and the service was excellent! The staff did a great job on my mani and pedi and I am extremely happy with the results. I will be coming back!
I've been going to Mimi and the gang for years, but in the past year or so, the service has really gone downhill. I had a mani/pedi this morning and was even more disappointed than usual.
Mimi applied my dip for my Mani and it hurt. The final product was good, but it felt rushed.
And the pedicure was so bad. I always get a deluxe package and know what to expect. The different steps were done, but very quickly and in the shortest time. The worst part was that she didn't scrap the calluses on my heels. I had to come home and do it myself.
So, no more 2nd or 3rd chances for Twin Nails. I'm done.
