We have stayed at Twin Lakes Inn for over 18 years. It's our favorite hotel in the area. As long as you don't expect the Ritz-Carlton, you will be happy with your stay. Twin Lakes Inn is nothing fancy, but it is comfortable, clean, and well run. The owners, Jim and Pat, are the best. They are like family to us now. They will do anything they can to help make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. There are many different choices of room setups, but every room has a refrigerator and microwave which is a huge plus for us. The rooms are spacious and clean. The only drawbacks are the bathrooms are small and there is no elevator to the 2nd floor rooms (for those with difficulty with stairs ask for a 1st floor room). Just an FYI-Shampoo, hair dryer, and lotion are not provided, but soap, clean towels, toilet paper, and Kleenex are provided.
Very nice, friendly people. They were more than accommodating. Shower faucet handle fell apart in my wife's hand and Jim fixed it immediately. Room was clean and towels we're refreshed as quickly as we used them. Would recommend to any one looking for an affordable lodging arrangement.
Very friendly staff. Rooms are very cozy, with nice tile bathrooms. Back porch area. Affordable prices.
Very clean! Comfortable bed. Super nice couple running the place. Would definitely stay here again.
The owners are nice people but need some help. They can only keep the office open from 10 to 8 and the ice is in the office. If need ice after 8 you are out of luck. They had a 12 cup coffee maker in my room and provided 2 cup packets. They did not clean the sink or the coffee maker. I could not reach the controls on the AC it was too high, you need a step stool. There was only a kitchen sink, not bathroom sink. There was no chair in the room (no space) but I asked for one and squeezed a patio chair in. There were Cigarette burns on the carpet. The shower head was partially clogged They last day I was there they failed to provide coffee and the office was closed. Ruined my day. Advertised price was $50 and I was charged $60. Everything was old. The pillows were thin If you were taking a shower and the room next door turned on the water yours turned very hot. No breakfast, small room, poor office hours, and poor cleaning. I will not stay again.
Had a great stay at the Twin Lakes Inn.|The owners are very nice and the price is also very good. Rooms and furniture is a little dated but the Rooms were clean and well taken care of. Stayed 5 nights with my son on a summer fishing trip. Close to the lake or the river whichever you prefer. We will stay again.
Great place to stay for the price. Jim and Eric are the new owners and are going out of there way to make your stay in the area the best it can be. My cousin and I stayed for 5 days while on a recent fishing trip to the famous White river. They kept the rooms clean every day and the beds and amenities were perfect. We needed a shuttle service while canoeing the river and they helped us out when no one else would. We caught some fish and they provided the grill to cook them on. We felt we were at home with good friends. I've stayed at a lot of places over the years and I will surely stay here again the next time I'm fishing on the White river.
1 minute from the lake. Simple, clean, and comfortable. Its not a 5 star, but its not a dump either. Has a pool, back deck, and the owners are very helpful with providing area info (restaurants and such). Like nearly all places near here, its older (made for housing when Dam was built), but for $60 a nite try to beat it (u wont).
