Food tonight was shocking!
Chips were old, left over from lunch, maybe? Hard and not edible.
Fish was good.
Needed a sandwhich for work tomorrow, chose a turkey and stuffing bap, only to get home and find it was dated 30/04/24 my bad! I should have checked the date before buying.
Really disappointed today. Food here in the past has alwsys been good.

I didn't go in to the shop I stay in the car.my dad and his cousin have small fish&chips good size fish.thickness fills them up.l have chips &curry not spicy.
This has been going for years with good reason. Great food, excellent service and good price. One of the original and best in the area.

I must say that I have recently had the pleasure of purchasing a dinner from this chip shop and I must say, the meal was quite the sensation. The establishment in question, with its warm lighting and inviting aroma, did truly serve up a delightful dish of fish and chips.
The fish itself was a triumph, encased in a golden, crispy batter that was cooked to perfection. It was firm yet tender, and simply melted in one's mouth. As for the chips, they were of the ideal thickness and crispiness, and were served piping hot. One could hardly ask for a more satisfying accompaniment to such a splendid piece of fish.
But it wasn't just the food that left me with such a glowing impression of this chip shop - it was also the service. The staff were courteous and friendly, and had a way of making one feel quite at home. It was clear that they took great pride in their work, and that they were committed to delivering a truly top-notch experience.
All in all, I can say with the utmost conviction that this chip shop is truly a cut above the rest. If one finds oneself in the vicinity, I would highly recommend stopping in for a meal - one is sure to be treated to a feast fit for a king!
Okay..chips were okay..but Jesus Christ. Don't get the hot baps. They basically take sandwich meat put it on a bap and then into the microwave it didn't sit right at all. "Fried onions" which were Raw red onion put on a Panini press for a minute.then stuck on the bap with chip shop gravy. Lord have mercy I looked at my friend and thought jesus please don't let this make us sick. Oh well life's a journey sometimes you get a rancid hot bap.
