Stopped here on our way through Crown Point. I tried the biscuits and gravy (my favorite breakfast). It was perfect! We live an hour away and I would definitely drive there just for the B & G. The waitress was friendly and although they were quite busy service was fast.
Very friendly staff. The waitress was amazing with my 3yr old and brought her things to do while we waited for our food. Means alot when it's hard to get a toddler to sit very long lol. Mozzarella sticks were great and loved my turkey club. Definitely will be back.
The food was decent but the service was outstanding. Will definitely go back but try something else to eat. I always get the greek skillet and wasn't that Impressed with theirs but thats only 1 thing off of their menu! Many more things to try!
You can tell the owner and staff take great pride in their restaurant. It was an older dinner but everything was still in great shape. The service was friendly and the value, they are the only place that hasn’t jacked up their prices. I honestly would love to know how they are successful with so much food for the price and such a clean establishment. Eat here for sure!
Love this place, Breakfast, dinner and lunch... 0 dissapointment. The food comes out fast, fresh, and hot. The atmosphere is a breath of fresh air with a very chill, relaxing vibe.
Coming here for years. Cannot say I have ever been disappointed. They have it all, like any classic Greek dinner should.
The service is always excellent. The breakfast menu has something for everyone. The lunch menu does as well. I am partial to getting lemon rice soup whenever possible. The open faced beef and turkey are great comfort food.
We come here often and we don’t usually have this place. i!. I to be able to tip money at restaurants when i’m able. But as people know in this economy the basic salary is not paying people enough to be able to afford necessities and activities. So people find enjoyment in being able to afford activities as such as going out to eat. But some weeks are harder and people can’t afford to tip. And nobody should be talked about because of it, especially when that person is near around.. today we went and heard our server talking and making snide comments about us not tipping. it is not the customer’s responsibility to pay you what your service provider can’t. If you have issues with the money you’re making take that to the higher up’s. Don’t gossip about customers, or if it is really that serious atleast wait until the customer isn’t in ear shot. Probably won’t be back.
Nice place for breakfast on the Chicago-to-Indy run. After hustling thru the tri-state and the always nasty I-80-94 corridor, this is a hospitable spot less than 10 minutes off the main drag to take a break. If you can, find a window seat where you can look out and enjoy the view of the Old Lake County Courthouse on the town square. The restaurant is mid-block on the East side of the square.
