very good time the wait is a lot longer then liked but I was super unsure and lost in my instruction and the barber Jackie I got understood and still understood what I wanted even though I was stumbling through what I wanted and did me good
I have used this place in Webster for years.
I used this location 2days ago n received the worst haircut EVER!!!
All my hair is gone!
Top is 1/2 inch, asked for or showed at least 1 1/2 inches on top, short on sides, high over ears, straight in back.
None of this happened.
Sides are longer than the top.
People are asking who cut your hair....
I told them.
I will be demanding a refund n I'll be sure to contact the manager n NEVER use them again.
I'm a business owner n the service I was provided was un heard of!!!
Have been coming to this Tune Up every 5 weeks or so for years. It used to truly be the "Manly Salon". However, now it is more like a kid's haircut place. I am currently sitting in the location waiting... For over an hour. There are 5 men in the place, 6 kids and 3 more teenagers. This is the new normal, as are the kid's moms bringing their kids here as they sit around the tables chatting it up drinking free drinks from the bar. It is literally a legal bar where kids can get their haircut. Clearly from other reviews that is the true appeal... Free alcohol. Disappointed also as the level of consistency in quality of haircuts have dropped significantly. Perhaps this comes from their inability to keep the same stylists around for any length of time. Welcome to a glorified Sports Clips with free booze.
Update.... I was told the wait would be an hour. It had been just over an hour and there are still 3 people ahead of me and 5 more after me... One of the stylists has had the same teenager in his chair since I arrived at 4:50pm. It is now 5:57. A new guy just checked in and they told him the wait was about an 90 mins... They close in an hour. I guess the moral of the story is the "manly salon" is from 10pm - 2pm. Once school lets out, it is a playground for kids.
I visited Tune Up - The Manly Salon today for the first time. I was warmly greeted when I walked in and encouraged to sign in on a large touch screen prominently displayed at the front right as you walk in. As I was tapping in my name and selecting which services I wanted (haircut and beard trim, just for the record), I was offered my choice of beer or spirits from their selection. They had 5 liquor brands from which to choose a gin, vodka, or whiskey. They also had 4 or 5 beers on tap (I chose a Karbach). As I sat down at the bar with my surprisingly free beer, I took a look around. Essentially, it's a hair salon with decor that is somewhat more masculine. Also, they have a shuffleboard that you can play if you have a friend that tagged along with you. I had enough of a wait that I was offered a free refill of my free beer while I exchanged light-hearted banter with some fellow patrons and Isabelle who was working the counter. It was all very pleasant, relaxed and enjoyable. Saying that is a lot coming from me as I don't particularly enjoy the time-consuming errand of getting my hair cut. Now mind you, the haircut itself is always somewhat relaxing to me, what gets to me is all the wasted time driving there, waiting for a stylist, and then trying to communicate what I want done with my hair. KiAna was the stylist who helped me and she did a great job. She listened, made recommendations, and then worked away as we chatted. I enjoyed my experience and would recommend it anyone.
Talk about the best tune up! Get your hair cut beard trim and drinks all in one sitting! Shout out to the best stylists that keep you lookin good and feelin good!
First of all I lived in the area for 1 year so far. I decided to Walk in not knowing what to expect but I was very impressed. Wish I would of found this place sooner.. friendly staff greeted as I walked in,very informative from sign up to walk out and free drinks. Lol
My barber very friendly and a perfectionist even tho I was her last cut of the day. Definitely going back.
UPDATE: signed up for membership and no complaints from me. Son and I Always come out looking fresh, thank you Tiphanie and Keairra!!!

Very pleasant place to be! Free drinks, great cuts, and better people! Tiphany is EXCELLENT at her craft!!????
First experience here and I absolutely loved it. I got a pedicure and was very self-conscious about it at 1st, but the staffing and environment was friendly and very professional and helped me with the experience. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend for others man or women to come.
