I don't usually feel things are perfect much less a restaurant.... but in this case. I really enjoyed my evening at Tulum. My streak tacos fantastic the tequila delicious. The atmosphere beautiful. Love that couples I saw had their child with them. It's not what I would see as a family fun place to eat but a special couple's date night with their child. I didn't but it was nice to see that everyone looked like they were enjoying the vibe.
My wife and I visited for the first time for my nieces birthday. Great environment, excellent customer service, amazing food, I thought that mango margarita was on the weak side, but flavorful. I would definitely come back again soon.
It was our first time here. Will definitely return! It’s a bit pricey but the food is AMAZING and of quality ???? German was the perfect server! Courteous and knowledgeable. So glad to have found this gem out in the West Valley!!
German was amazing… the attention to detail, the recommendations, his flexibility to accommodate shows how he goes above and beyond to make any day special! Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable.
P.S. Try the tomahawk. You won’t regret it!
Service was amazing! The food was also very good! Highly recommend this restaurant! I enjoyed the food, the music and the vibes of this place! Our server was very helpful and very nice and friendly. FYI dress fancier lol
Went here for dinner on a whim after we finished shopping at the outlets. It's upstairs on the east side of Kabuki. We were greeted and seated quickly. The restaurant design is really well done. It has very modern chic decor and it's very well done. Props to whomever did the planning and design work. We were seated in a booth and it felt very private for to the way things were laid out. Our server greeted is quickly and went over the menus ands drink options. He then took our drink orders ( this place is not super expensive, but a mixed drink on menu was $19, so plan on spending some money here if you plan on drinking ).
The server brought our drinks out along with chips and salsa (great tasting and homemade, both) and took our appetizer order, which was the queso and elote. Both were well prepared, and presentation was great. He then came back to bring the appetizers, refilled out drinks and took our main course order.
We ordered the lamb chops, asparagus, Mac and cheese, and a pork and rice dish ( cannot remember the name but it's pictured ). Again presentation of the food was spot on and it was very well cooked. The lamb was tender and perfectly seasoned. The mac and cheese was rich and creamy, and the asparagus was steamed perfectly. The pork and rice was very flavorful and the tortillas were amazing.
Service was impeccable, the atmosphere was great, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
I would definitely recommend coming here. It's pricey, especially with drinks. Expect to spend $100 per person or more with tip if you're drinking, maybe $50 without drinks. Most menu items are ala carte, but it is worth the visit.
It was just whatever. Forgettable. Not bad, but I didn’t leave saying, “can’t wait to come back.” Steak, queso, shrimp, chicken salad was ordered. Sushi on the menu too. They use this smoked molé dressing on salads, I didn’t care for the taste. Also mixed greens from the store. I expected some more effort with a salad (lol) especially given the prices here.
The shrimp appetizer is tasty, but you rarely feel any bites of shrimp. Very breaded and saucy.
Actually, I’m lowering my overall rating from a 4 to a 3. Ya, given the prices, I expected a better experience with the food.
Tulum and the entire staff went above and beyond to give us the best experience possible for my daughter's graduation celebration. The food and service are unmatched. The flavors and many delicious dishes had my family and friends talking nonstop about how excited they are to return very soon to try more of the menu items. The wait staff and management made our group feel very welcome and had great attention to detail. Thank you, Erica and Will, for making this occasion such a memorable one for my daughter and family.
