Pretty good fish and chips place, nothing super spectacular other than your typical fish and fish restaurant. However, they do serve sushi here as well which is something you don't find at most other fish and chips spots. I got the fish and calamari, the fish was good, crunchy and fluffy, very fresh. The calamari was crunchy but slightly rough and rubbery. The chips ( or fries) are crunchy and hot! I love it! Overall pretty good and the staff was super nice! I will come back again!
Tugboat offers a satisfying experience with tasty offerings. The sushi was enjoyable, and the fish and chips were a standout—the fish was perfectly crispy. However, the fries were average. What really stood out was the exceptional service; the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall visit. While the fries could use a boost, the delicious fish and warm hospitality makes Tugboat a worthwhile stop for seafood in the area!
Tugboat fish and chips exceeded my expectations in every way! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the chips were deliciously golden and seasoned just right. The portion sizes were generous, and the overall presentation was fantastic. I highly recommend Tugboat fish and chips to anyone looking for a delightful seafood treat!
Love this place! Small town at it's best! The food is always delicious and such great lunch specials. $5.99 sushi rolls and they are amazing. Baskets of all the best fried foods and a drink for $7.99.
A great experience! Food was amazing, and the service was great! Definitely would go again!
Tugboat Fish and Chips is a little hole in the wall family-owned joint that lives up to its namesake. The fried fish is perfectly fried coming out flaky and hot - not overly greasy like other places. Although the drink selection could be better, the order was taken and served with a smile.
An unassuming place with great food. Was looking for something to eat in Lincoln when we spotted this place. Didn't have high hopes but decided to try it anyway. I'm so glad that we did. It was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend giving it a try. The fries are really average, but the seafood is amazing.
Everything is great so my only complaint is they should use rock fish/cod for their fish and chips. They use Tilapia! Big difference cause Tilapia is basically a warm water carp and makes a big difference.
