What a nice watering hole with food. I ordered 6 tacos (3 per order). I was expecting to polish off all six but due to the amount of stuff in each taco, I could only do four. The cook won that round. The taco order also comes with corn chips which was not expected.
The two bar chicks were very customer friendly.
Anyway, from the Loves, it's about a 26 minute walk/8 minute bike ride.
Fries cooked perfectly, and the burger was juicy and plump! Complements to the chef! I'm not a fan of smoke but it's a bar so I accepted it.
We couldn't have found any better bar than this one. The moment we walked in people said hi to us and then came over to our table to talk with us. Very good food also and great service. We will be back when we get the chance!
Great "hometown bar" away from home. Group of us found this bar while we were doing an event nearby and it didn't disappoint. Great bar food, Dj/karaoke, and atmosphere. We actually spoke about Tubbys on way home (2.5-3hrs away) and we will be making a trip back up to New London. Thanks for a good time Tubbys, wish we could've stayed longer

Great food at a decent price. We get lunch here a few times a month, and it never disappoints. Yesterday I had the Tubby burger, and was satisfied but would like to see some kind of sauce added to really put it over the top on flavor.
Got a lot of memories here, even from when the bar itself had a different name and ownership. Too many memories to even count and tell. Always a good time, pretty good food, and there's always someone in here that I know personally. I've always had great service here, in the past and present both. Good place to just stop in on a random day for a bite to eat when you don't feel like driving all the way to town.
