Yvonne is awesome. This summer we lived in Wiler and got to know her. She gave us great travel advice and is very knowledgeable about local craft beer. She also has quite a selection of craft beer in bottles.
The pub itself is pretty quiet most of the afternoon and evening during the summer (off season), but it gets lively later in the night when a varied and fun clientele rolls in. Late at night Tschäggättu pub is the place to be in Lötschental. Note that as of this writing the bar is cash only. There is a convenient ATM down the street.
I can't recommend this bar enough, and if I ever get back to Wiler, revisiting Tschäggättu pub will be a highlight.
