Came through here in 1989 with my grandfather, Doc Dugan. He loved this town and everyone in it. He kept a packed suitcase under his bed and, on several occasions, woke up before the sun and would just head west, from Vermont, to visit his friends in Truxton.
One of the coolest stops on this historic journey. Working old pumps topped off the Harley and it was great visiting with the owner Chuck. This is a must stop.
Hank worked with us over Xmas to get our trailer spring fixed! Great loads of wood too.
Years ago we rode through and stopped at Truxton Station and absolutely loved taking time to talk to Charlie, he is amazing!! Unfortunately, it would seem Charlie has sold and is no longer part of the Station, im pretty sure the guy we spoke to was Steven, he was okay. We didn't stick around though, Steven was super busy and didn't seem as friendly. It's unfortunate, but everything great is going to die sooner or later. I just hope Charlie is still alive ????
Funky, old half abandoned town typical on rte 66. I liked it. Nothing here but old gas station and cafe. If you're driving through dont blink or you'll miss it.
The mechanics own their own products and vehicles so they are very trustworthy and have a good sense or directions because of all the customers they know.

Very good service and informant on various vehicles. The owners are friendly and they provide full service at the pumps.
