She is such a lovely lady and I truly loved the experience. I really really hate that I have to even leave this review. She really is a wonderful person. I waited this long to leave a review because I started noticing things that were happening to my hair after leaving the salon. I had to lay a towel down on my pillow when I slept that night (and I still sleep with one on my pillow unless it's black... I had to do this even when it was dry... so, I am STILL rinsing dye out each time I shower. I had to slow down on washing my hair because waiting even 2-3 days was still making it just lose its vibrancy and so much for would run through down the drain. I'm really sad about it because I now don't have the hair color that I wanted. I paid $180 (tip included) and my hair ended up dying the brand new sweatshirt that I wore that day. The stain never came out. It was able to be taken off but for some reason it stayed on. We were taking a lot. Like I said she is a nice person and we did get along very well. So after I left the salon, I was happy with the finished product. I did not know how it would end up looking so different from when I left to when I began taking care of my hair myself. I had washed my hair like 3 days later, and since the dye was still coming out, it was dying my towels and I ruined another shirt because of the excess dye still coming out after my 3rd washing. I am tired of not having my hair a FULL COLOR. It seems like my roots will never color now either. I loved it when it was first dyed but then as it started coming out every single time I'd wash it, I just gave up. That was a lot of money for someone like myself and I trusted it would look the same way as I left the salon and it just kept getting lighter and the dye is still coming out. I'll leave a picture.
Had a great cut today! Geri is amazing..very personable an really listened to what I wanted. Her shop is very cute and i would definitely recommend giving her a try. I definitely will ????????????
My daughter and I got our hair cuts by Gerri and she was amazing. We both love our new looks!! I have very long hair and was scared to add layers but with Gerris scissor skills she did such an awesome job! My hair feel so much better and has volume and life and daughter absolutely loves her new bangs
My daughter referred me to Truth Hair, I am very pleased with the outcome ????...Gerri is a very carasmatic person, you don't just sit there and wait in awkward silence while the hair color is sitting, Gerri is very professional and knows what she's doing. Jeri is the best! I went there to get my hair colored, plus a hair cut and it was the best experience ever! She was so understanding about my ideas and she delivered exactly what I wanted. Also the atmosphere is very nice, very clean and she even offered me iced tea! ???????????? Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality job!! Thank you very much again!
I can't say how much I love her and my hair cut, so im from texas and don't know anyone from here. I look for places i have long hair but i have been having super dry hair and split end like so bad. she took care of my worries and the way she ask what do you want. im 36 and have never been so happy with a hair cut, plus i dont go to anyone so it was scary but im so glad I went to her trust me you guys will thank me latter.
Waited until after my third haircut before deciding to post a review. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to give Truth or Hair a try. Gerri is the owner/operator/stylist and from the very first conversation you can tell she takes real pride in her work. Not only that, she’s a good communicator and helped me better understand my options and decide what I actually wanted. Most importantly of course - she’s a tremendously talented professional who’s just really good at what she does. Highly recommend.
It had been so long since I had my hair cut. Finding someone to cut my hair was nerve racking. I was just about to give up when I found Truth or Hair on a visit to Phoenix. I read the reviews and decided to make an appointment. The owner was amazing. First plus was her salon was open in the morning at a time when most places were closed. When I arrived she was inviting and polite. All precautions were taken to ensure her clients and herself were safe. I immediately felt comfortable. I showed her pictures of what I wanted. I explained my troubles of finding a hairdresser and was worried I couldn't pull of this hairstyle I wanted. She spoke with me whole time about what she was doing and how to care and style my new look. I will definitely be going back. Thank you so much Truth or Hair. ❤
