I don't think I'd take a dieing rat here. I came in with flu like symptoms. I work at a metal refinery, so it could be from inhaling copper dust. Which is what i told the nurses. They took my blood and did labs. They said everything looked fine, but I did not and still do not feel fine. Anyways, after waiting 3 hours, when I went back, I didn't even get to speak with a doctor. All they did was prescribed me antidiarrhea (2 mg). 4 days later, and I still feel horrible. The nurses were very sweet, and I feel bad for them having to work there. I have some sort of virus in my body, and it's not gonna go away if I dismiss it the way this "hospital" dismissed me. Maybe other people would have a better experience, but this last go around was absolute trash.
I've been here twice in the last 6 months to get care for my best friend. I'll focus on this run, it's more than enough. I offer 2 stars for the politeness and support of the security team, and the nurse aids that offered constant drinks and snacks, even when it wasn't appropriate. (Acid issues, so they brought oj and lemonade.) I am quite capable of being understanding, but he arrived by ambulance at 230 pm, and by 830 pm he was still begging for his basic daily medications. Does anyone understand diabetic care amongst the ER? My bf got lost in limbo while multiple emergencies occurred and he was put on the back burner. Because he was there for psych help, his phone was taken... which happens to be his glucometer. We were told he could have access to check his numbers, providing he also let them document a physical stick for their data... again, no problem... until he wanted to check his numbers. Then, everyone is busy and his alarm kept going off. The first nurse never did understand that he needed his long acting insulin, because he takes it early. He was forced to stay amongst a psych hold, and I wish I would have discussed anywhere but here and this. It's now 1040 pm and I cannot speak to him or do anything but wait until the morning to see him and hope I can do something to help him get away from this prison. Fantastic mental health practices... put someone in an uncomfortable bed alone... take their phone, he couldn't close the door. Let's remove all comforts so we can really hate life I guess? Never again. Never. You made this worse. Thanks. For the record, I was well aware reaching out would mean that my complaints would be taken, and nobody would do a thing... absolutely proven by my phone call being returned to assure me he has seen a doctor... smh. It's been 6 days. He's not any better. This place is a failure. The holiday weekend meant I could do nothing to legally speak to anyone... hope ya'll had a nice holiday...
I recently had surgery on my foot and was quite impressed with the out-patient surgery center. Check-in was quick, pre-op & post-op care was excellent & the actual surgery went well. Everyone introduced themselves & seemed to really care about my surgery. Highly recommended!
Very clean facility. Easy parking. Superb gift shop. All the personnel were friendly and professional! Came down for a family member’s emergency surgery. The nurse kept us updated every 2 hours. He will be in recovery soon.
I used to think Trumbull memorial hospital was the best in Trumbull county, not so much anymore. They don't seem to care about their patients as much anymore. That's sad ????. My brother has neck surgery and had to stay the night there. His call light did not work, He called 8 times and not one single nurse came down to his room to check on him. That is pathetic, they need to do their jobs instead of sitting around talking to each other.
Outstanding staff, very knowledgeable and friendly. Extremely helpful and wholesome experience I had for a first time patient. Me and my son will be coming here from now on for all our medical and emergency needs. If any nurses or doctors are reading this review, thank you. Seriously, thank you for everything you did for me and for the community.
I would not recommend this place. I had someone in the icu and they kept messing information up and just down right rude in every way. They like had no idea what they were doing because they kept saying it was one thing to the next and kept messing information and said sorry wrong person like how can you mess up information and cost someone a life. They also need customer service saying to my fave in the rudest way that the person I had in there that she won’t make it. That’s down right rude to just come out and ask a bunch of questions and say that. Also from the start they said she was alert looking around but apparently that was a lie.. they lied from the get go if I was you guys do not ever take your patient here unless you want them dead because they seem like they don’t know what they’re doing from messing up easy information about a patient.
My mom went here for a routine procedure and ended up losing half her leg. I went there with a medical emergency and all they did was give me an IV then kick me out on the street and I found out last month that they sent me to collections because instead of sending the bill to the home I live in, they marked me as homeless. Good luck Warren.
