Visiting for the day, thought we would get ice cream. We immediately felt so uncomfortable- the man just stared at us. The set up isn’t ideal either I sort of wanted a lolly pop but you can’t see. Got 2 adults and one child and the man was so so unpleasant. We were turning to go and he gave me such a dirty look. We regretted not turning when we first felt uncomfortable. We are from Northern Ireland so I wasn’t sure was it my accent but i definitely will not be back and would not recommend to anyone. The ice cream wasn’t nice either and the Nutella in the cone wasn’t nice. I haven’t left a review on google before but I was totally disgusted I actually walked the whole way back to get the name if the place to leave a review. This business does not deserve peoples money
Ended up here on our way to the Amusements. My partner and I wanted ice cream, but everywhere was charging an arm and a leg. This place saved the day and only charges half the price of the others. There is also a truely insane amount of flavors and options.
Rainbow sherbet, slushies, soft serve ice cream, BLACK vanilla... The list goes on. Wouldn't say the server was incredibly friendly, but we were polite and patient and she warmed up real quick and we had a laugh! Best prices around.
There were plenty of flavours to choose from, including several vegan choices. I had a delightfully tangy, fruity sorbet!
Wish I could leave no stars. Milkshake was just milk, no flavour. Staff were absolutely disgraceful, both times I’ve been. Treat a child with pure disrespect, were rude and miserable the whole time. Makes you feel super uncomfortable
Paid £4.50 for one ice cream for my son; they wouldn’t accept a card order for less than £5.00
I’m sure that’s illegal practice today?
Asked for strawberry sauce and they had the cheek to ask for £0.10p!

Went in with my sister in law for a colourful ice cream and the attitude from the lass behind the counter was beyond disgusting!!
She might be a visitor but I'm not and I'm sure as hell going to make sure people know to avoid like the plague!
We both work in customer service and the way she spoke to my sister in law and stomped off was way out of order.
We go every time my family are here but we certainly will not be back after that!
We went down to Tubys and the young lass (can't have been much older than 14) behind the counter couldn't have been more helpful and lovely, maybe needs to give your staff a lesson in customer service
So we had a day a Whitby today and went into this shop with some friends for an ice cream and the customer service we recieved off the lady was disgusting, she was an older lady out the two working, Not a smile a thank you or anything it was like our custom was an inconvenience to her, I am never one to complain but I couldn't believe the way she spoke to us it was just rude, I think its absolutely disgusting to treat customers in the manner she did, I have also read some other reviews on here and its obviously not a one off. The thing is good customer service cost nothing but I'm afraid your shop is going to suffer by the custom you will loose through your rudeness. I for one will never be coming back to your shop
Absolutely shocked with the attitude of the bad mannered shop assistant who was serving today in the empty shop. My granddaughter, myself, my wife and our two great granddaughters went inside as it was quite cold to take a seat. on entering we were stopped by a grumpy shop assistant who muttered in a stern voice "fold up that pushchair", my granddaughter said "my 2 month old baby is in it"and the shop is empty. Rules are rules the jobsworth shouted, We could not get out quick enough, now I realize why the shop was empty, we will never enter the unwelcome, non-child friendly place again. Disgusting.
