Stop by to borrow the grass behind his restaurant for the solar eclipse. His wasn't open but was extremely kind and opened the bathrooms for us. If his kindness is any indication to the love he puts in his food it will be amazing.
Two tiny buildings w/ iron bars and two cement umbrella tables w/ integral seats. Hence the low "atmosphere" score. Don't expect table service.
Basically, a take away, or 'To-Go' spot that seems to rock the Q. However stoked I was for Turkey, it isn't available every day (!@$%).
We only had a Brisket Sandwich & Smoked Wings. Excellent on both counts. No pork in the beans, but a little beef.
What is not to like? Like table service? Well, a handwash station... but this isn't that kinda place. Bare bones (esp. if you finish the wings or ribs).

We stopped by for the first time and ordered 3 meals; the catfish sandwich, 8 piece chicken wings with fried okra, and the special 2 pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw. The food was fast, delicious, and plentiful. We will definitely be returning. Thanks ????
For the price you'd pay at any fast food place you can go here and get some real BBQ! Pork steaks are always delicious as is most everything I've had here. Wish the sides were in a little bigger container...

Service was great & the food was spectacular.
Unfortunately they were sold out of the smoked wings and brisket but I wasn't disappointed in the slightest by the gargantuan turkey leg and the crispy fried okra.
Glad this place isn't in St. Louis or I'd be broke going every day.
Chicken wings were too dry to eat. BBQ sandwiches meat dry on half the other half fresh. Ribs dry. Husband spent half

I've been meaning to stop here for some time now, and finally today I had the chance.They had a great deal in pork steak/chop, but I had a hankering for come pulled pork. Let me tell ya..... This here is what BBQ is all about. I told my wife, "this tastes like eating with old friends on the back porch at home." DELICIOUS is the word that comes to mind, and service+value, can't beat that! These people's right here are my kind of people's! I will be back Rev. ???? You got the kind of food make a man wanna praise Jesus!
I've been in Cape Girardeau for about 2 years now, I really enjoyed my Buffalo rib plate, and my potato salad and my mini tip rib plate, I will be going back, and yes this was my first visit I had been hearing good things so I had to see it for myself
