The vibes in this try food are great. Place is clean and modern. The wait staff was great at the bar and during our brunch service. The food was delicious. The manager was nice enough to bring us out cookies after our meal too. Overall, the only thing keeping me from giving a 5 star is the amount of food for the price. I ordered the steak breakfast burrito for $16.50. The burrito itself was pretty small and there was no side.
I ordered the southwest cobb salad and asked them to sub the steak for grilled shrimp. They didn't have grilled shrimp, so I think it was sautéed? I really didn't like the blue cheese (grossed me out). I'm used to having feta in it instead. Overall, it wasn't bad. But for the price, I expected something that would ignite my taste buds. The atmosphere was beautiful.
A healthier food option located in the Ballston Quarter mall. The service was great and the food had a ton of flavor. Unfortunately I can't give more than 4 stars because the prices are pretty eye-watering. I understand paying a premium for better quality ingredients, but at the current price point I'd find it hard to justify returning.
edemame dumplings weren't as good as the last times I've had them but True Food is still my favourite restaurant.
the flourless cake was good, as always, and I highly recommend the matcha horchata. during the winter, the butternut squash pizza is #1 (and I think it is even better with the gluten free crust).
Is this restaurant fresh and farm to table? Yes! Is the food delicious? Also yes! Is the food somewhat expensive for what you are getting? Yes! Would I recommend it? Yes! Overall, the service was great, the wait staff are friendly and helpful when you have questions. I’ve dined here a number of times and each time I have not been disappointed! So yes, I would recommend it!
I have been to a couple True Food locations and have been a fan of the anti-inflammatory diet for a while, and the menu at TFK always brings the flavor! It has a ton of vegetarian options and even a handful of vegan friendly foods, all clearly marked. The service, while a bit slow during our out of peak hour dining, was still friendly and very knowledgeable of the items provided.
Absolutely amazing! Josh was our server and he did an outstanding job! True food is the best restaurant in America. This marks the 10th location in a different state we have been to and we’re all impressed!!!!
Beautiful modern coffee/restaurant where you can have a sandwich, brunch, or a different breakfast like Shashuka (you can share), and with Gluten free alternatives. The chocolate and the passion fruit desserts are to die for! It looks like a french boulangerie. Loved it!
