BEST BBQ I’ve found in South Florida so far! So confused why this place only has 4.2 stars!! I got their pulled pork sandwich and it didn’t disappoint. Their fries were really good too! I was in the area for work and saw it and decided to stop! I’m so thankful I did! And HI!! They have a drive thru!! Very friendly and super delicious. Will definitely be making the drive back down again and bringing my boyfriend!!
BEST BBQ I’VE EVER HAD! Incredible bbq in Boynton Beach. The brisket combo is incredible as well as the sides. I recommend beans, coleslaw, mac and cheese, potato salad (spicy) and the collard greens. They also have a drive through window which is great for a quick pick up.
I cannot say enough great things about this place! I was next door at Boynton Billiards looking at some pool tables. I went here afterwards with a friend for lunch. By far some of the best BBQ I’ve had ever! Friendly staff, incredible food, and great atmosphere!
What can you say about an unassuming, family run bbq, where, if you pull around the back to park, you get an eyeful of a huge smoker and snootful of that ‘just exactly perfect’ smoked meat aroma? Well, imho, it’s the best bbq I’ve had, with the possible exception of my cousin’s mother-in-law’s homemade pulled pork (Virginia). We make sure to hit Troy’s every time we are down here in South Florida, bypassing more than half a dozen bbq joints that are closer to home. It’s that good. This year we decided to go ribs and only ribs, although I also recommend without reservation both the pulled pork and brisket (especially those evasive ‘burnt ends’). BUT THE RIBS, are simply perfection on a plate. Smokey, succulent and delicious, served dry or wet, spicy or mild. As soon as we ordered (you order at the counter and you can watch the show), the meat man pulled out his cleaver, selected a rack from the smoker, and began to hack away with great precision. First he cut off the rib tips with one blow, 4 more separated each of the 5 meaty ribs in my order, and then a few more hacks to cut the rib tips into bite sized portions. I went spicy, my wife went sweet, but either of us would have been perfectly happy with the other. As for sides, they are all just what you hoped they’d be - collard greens, baked beans (maple and bacon - whoa!), Mac and cheese - all splendid in their own right and perfect compliments to the meat. We ended up taking the cornbread home - it’s delicious, but there’s only so much you can eat…!
Make no mistake, this is a real deal bbq, so atmosphere is irrelevant - it’s not trying to be Nobu, thank goodness. It’s all the atmosphere you need for ribs. You make a mess and wipe yourself off with brown paper towels - but you can’t wipe the grin off your face. I gave it a 4 for atmosphere but, in case I wasn’t clear, atmosphere is irrelevant if you’re set to eat some real bbq, and this is as real as bbq gets.

Absolutely delicious. But the service was almost better. Shout out to : Link, Wee, Jonny, Eli. From start to finish , these folks took such good care of me. Owners take note !! You have such a wonderful crew. They even escorted me out to my car with my large order of Brisket for a funeral today and just made me so comfortable. I am just knocked out. Thank you all so much. This is hands-down the best BBQ restaurant in all of Boca/Delray/Boynton. The pulled pork and ribs are SO GOOD. I actually haven't tried any other meats just because I always order them. The sides are also great, and the potato salad is 10/10. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want great food (and big portions)!
So glad I finally got here after all these years. They're the real deal Hollyfield. I do prefer a nearby bbq spot but I'm super happy they're here and doing bbq right and sweet service. Two thumbs up for getting your quick bbq fix. Definitely coming back and cool people running the place.
Oh. My. Gosh. The food is SOOOO good here, like next level good. I stopped in for lunch and got a brisket sandwich with collard greens and baked beans. All three of my meal items were honestly the best variant I’ve had of each my entire life, and I’m 36 years old. I will absolutely be coming back many more times. Gotta bring my family here too. There is literally no better BBQ I’ve ever had in my life than this place.
