I ordered a detox green island smoothie which is supposed to have kale and spinach in it but the smoothie that they provided (with a sticker on it saying it was a detox green island smoothie) was completely yellow without a speck of green in it. The smoothie looks more like a sunshine smoothie. This is a big deal to me because the sunshine smoothie has over 100 carbs compared to the drink I ordered which has 46 carbs. Just a warning to anyone trying to be healthy ordering from here they are ignoring your order and giving you a drink with a days worth of carbs in it.
Came in on a Friday night near closing time and although the store was pretty dead behind the counter appeared very busy. Nicole did a great job handling 2 different customers with great care and concern and took the time to make sure everyone had everything they needed and more. The whole crew worked really well under pressure even though they were under staffed. Smoothies and food were great as always.

The staff is super nice always greets me when I come in and have wonderful smiles, the food and smoothies are so amazing and they always help fix any problem I have with a smile!! I rarely find a food Indy hat offers such amazing customer service, kudos to them! I definitely recommend this restaurant!
Every time I go to this location the line is wrapped around the parking lot and they have gotten slack on the food quality. This isn’t even a full serving of corn. Seems like places like these are going up on their prices but the quality is going down. Won’t be back, I’ll just cook at home. Mind you I asked for sauce on the side not on the wrap and here I am with a flatbread slathered in sauce that I can’t eat! ???? Thanks!
BUYER BEWARE!!!! If you are purchasing any smoothie from this Tropical Smoothie location, beware of contaminated water!!! So disgusting, yuck. I usually go through the drive thru but on this particular day, I decided to go inside. To my surprise, as I waited for my smoothie to be made, I witnessed a Tropical Smoothie associate take, what looked to be like an old filthy pump bottle from a garage or something, over to a sink area that had a sign placed above it stating "HAND WASH ONLY'. The associate proceeded to fill up this gallon sized container that had a pump at the top it. Once filled up, she sets this disgusting bacteria filled plastic container on the smoothie counter and then another associate comes over to pump and squirt some contaminated hand wash only tap water into the famous Tropical Smoothie foam cup, in preparation to make a smoothie. I was literally jaw-dropped. I witnessed this with my own eyes and the associates working there were not even hiding the fact that they were filling up a dirty and disgusting contaminated plastic container jug with filthy "HAND WASH ONLY' water from a small sink. I almost threw up after witnessing this. I could literally see the dirt on the bottle, so I made sure I took a picture to share with my fellow humans. Tropical Smoothie, please correct this immediately!
Tropical Smoothie Cafe's website states: "Our commitment to responsibly sourced, safe and quality ingredients means more than just delicious food and smoothies; it means we can Inspire Better and spread sunshine all around."
This commitment was definitely not exemplified at the TSC location on 11900 Atlantic Blvd and I will not support that type of business practice, or lack there of.
This place has not been the same since new management. Today my husband placed a pickup order via Uber Eats there for the first time & I went to get it. Walk in. See the pickup counter. See the bag with his name on it. Say “thank you”. & walk out the door. I then realize the sandwich is missing, as I turn back around an employee walks out the door and says “Hey girl. That order’s not done yet. I wish you asked.” With a tone implying I had done something wrong…
Maybe I don’t understand their pickup system having never used it before, ok cool. But this system does seem pretty flawed regardless. I think anyone seeing their name on a bag on the pickup counter would assume it’s ready for pickup. As most pickup services are contactless & placed in a designated pickup area once ready. I’ve never had to “ask”.
A simple fix would be to simply turn the bag around so the name is not facing the lobby until it’s ready. I also would assume it’d be easier for the staff to see what food goes in what bag based on the order name. Just my two cents.
