Should’ve adhered to the reviews. This was supposed to be the breakfast quesadilla with lettuce. This was clearly just thrown together. They didn’t even cut it or give me the sauce that comes with it. I really wish I could get my money back smh. I won’t ever go to this location again.
Really friendly employee that served me! Even though they ran outta flatbreads(my fave), he was very apologetic and accommodating.
Update of 2024: the service is still superb! The manager Ashley was super helpful! HOWEVER this new Acai bowl they have....crazy! Although it's fresh and tasty, its waaaaaaaayyyyy too much money for that small bowl! $10 for about 5oz of fruit! Try Playa Bowls for bigger bang for your buck!
Went in today and got the chicken bacon ranch and chipotle ranch flatbreads 2 of each and it's safe to say the chicken bacon ranch is hand down the best one (they didn't put enough onions tho(I requested onions)). Sunset smoothie and berry blast smoothie everything was good 8/10 recommended.
Food Safety Issue, me being a restaurant manager myself this hits home. How do you have wax paper in the middle of a sandwich??? Which became a choking hazard for my child. This raises my concerns for this whole establishment, this is not my first visit. I didn’t even want a refund just need answers? Corporate GM Owner , this shouldn’t take place in a restaurant establish if your actually practicing food safety guidelines!!!!
I ordered a chicken caprese and a chicken pesto with jalapeño corn. This is what I got!!! They just put some chicken and lettuce in chicken pesto and chicken and mozzarella in chicken capers. The corn wasn’t even a full cup. I paid a total of 16.96 plus tip 2.50 tip. Since they were closing, I requested a refund. Very arrogant attitude of the lady that works there. Not apologetic, rather back answering saying me you shouldn’t have tipped. And then keeps the order on table saying I can’t keep it, so you can throw it. And since their card machine wasn’t working she hands me 16 $ with an attitude saying we don’t have change so there you go. The worse is the attitude in all of this. I have always been a big fan of the food and drink of this brand. But with such management, in no time, the reputation will be ruined because of this particular outlet.
Ordered a smoothie from these rude idiots who want to know who's calling before they give the manager the phone as if we know each other. I asked them to remove the banana from my order and guess what...they didn't. But oh well if you have an allergic reaction bc they are too dumb to know that you have to read order notes. Accountability will be had.
Food is always hit or miss, most times it misses. I ordered again today, go to pick up my order and everyone just keeps working like they do not see me walk in. It's not that difficult to say hello and acknowledge the customer even if you're doing something else in front of me I ordered a flat bread, for once it wasn't burnt to pieces but the Jalapeño corn was cold as ice and just tossed into the bag and the wrong chips were provided again. Do better people, I enjoy the brand but this location is doing a dis-service to the brand as a whole with the customer experience. This location also does not have a separate pickup area, so if you order online they make you wait in the line to get your food which allows it to get cold because its just tossed on a shelf with no heat.
I usually order through DoorDash but tonight I decided to go in and I was thrilled by my experience. The atmosphere is clean and the music selection is bomb. Ray greeted me with a smile and was very informative about what they offer here at Tropical Cafe. He even convinced me to download the app. Ray also made me a delicious smoothie and hands down the best smoothie I’ve ever had. I will gladly come back to this location for the vibes alone. 10 stars given with excellent customer service skills and quality smoothies well blended. Highly recommend!
