4/27/24 Update!!! I’m still in the hospital!!! I’m not sure how to upload the link from the Owner, but I also did a review on the website.
I usually go to this location quite often and never had any issues but this pass Sunday I visited 4/21/24 roughly around 7-8:30 and ordered my usual veggie hummus wrap and pomegranate plunge drink, and I believe the hummus veggie wrap gave me food poisoning. I’ve been throwing up and on the toilet for the last few days and it’s not getting any better. I’m heading to the hospital now I’ve been out of work, and haven’t been able to eaten anything since that night…
Whenever I order here after my morning workouts, the team is fast and efficient, they also help by explaining items on their menu when I have questions.
I loss my wallet and didn’t realize it until a day later. After re-tracing my steps, I went back to tropical smoothie and was met by Daija H. who stored my wallet in a safe. If you want to continue growing as a store/company, look after your employees like Daija make sure she is well compensated. Great personality and character! May the Lord continue to bless you! Seems to have a variety of health conscious food and drinks. I usually get a wrap and a mango smoothie. There are plenty of mixins that you can add to your smoothie. I usually get a mango smoothie after working out.
Management may need to address the waiting area versus dine in as they seemed to uncomfortably mingle. (Or maybe the cashier should be moved)
They also have breakfast which I have had delivered before. I recommend the American burrito…bacon egg and mozzarella chz….really good.
This visit was fantastic in regards to the quality of drinks. The service was spectacular, and honestly, I enjoyed this smoothie. It wasn’t too sweet; they were perfect. Now I was going to tip, but then I remembered in the past, when I asked whether they received the tips, I was told no. I’m not sure who owns this establishment, but shame on you for collecting your hard-working employees' bonuses. When you know better you do better, give your worker their tips.
After I picked up my order, i noticed that my chips wasnt in the bag. So i went back inside and told them I was missing my BBQ chips, the guy was like, we dont have any BBQ. My question is, why didn't you substitute the chips with a different flavor or at least tell me that when i arrived? Anyways, he gave me plain chips, no apology or nothing lol. Then I get back to my job to eat my lunch and the Acai Bowl did not have granola in it which was the reason why I ordered the bowl. I called up to the store twice, no answer. I drove back to see if they ran out of granola or if they forgot to put it in the bowl. When I arrived, there were no customers in the store, so why yall couldnt answer the phone? It was like two employees in the back and two in the front. The guy said, we dont have no granola.
Why are you letting customer's order items that you don't have all the ingredients to and not saying anything? That Acai Bowl is $12!!!
Fix the customer service at this location please!
The heavens have answered my prayers. I have lived in the Clinton/Fort Washington area now for 4 years. There are limited healthy take out places nearby. I literally made a detour from my destination to come here. The menu options are awesome. The staff are friendly. The environment is clean and fresh. There is adequate parking. I got the Chicken Caprese flat sandwich and the Acai berry smoothie. They were both great. I would definitely recommend. This franchise's arrival was long overdue what next other options in our area with vegetables and fresh fruit? Is this still southern P.G. County? Haha!!
The guy with dreads smokes weed in the back. Restaurant is dirty. Had a smoothie and didn’t feel too good afterwards. Stay away for the betterment of your health.
The workers were blasting music with profanity! It was shameful- very provocative and offensive music. I had my 11 year old with me, and that should not have happened.
