I loveeeee the açaí bowls BUT this location seems to premake and freeze the bowls. There’s no point in putting FRESH cut fruit on top of a frozen base. By the time it’s gets to room temperature, the granola is soggy and the fruit. $11 wasted. They should be made fresh. These bowls aren’t cheap
Awful awful experience. I arrived to your Piedmont location looking forward to have a smoothie. Immediately when I walk through the door, the young lady said, do you have a mobile order in a very disgusting rude tone. I let her know let her know I did not and I started to look at the menu when she immediately told me well do you want food? Because if you want a smoothie, we don’t have ice to make you a smoothie! Once more in a rude tone. I found this to be quite surprising as your company’s name is tropical smoothie and ice should be readily available for your main product sold. I offered to purchase ice for them so that I could have my smoothie seeing as the Sprouts grocery store location is literally 2 feet away from this tropical smoothie . The young lady told me that she would probably not be able to accept it. I let her know the Sprouts grocery store was right there if they needed ice. I left the location upset and drove 20 mins further to a different Tropical Smoothie location. These employees let me know there is an ice machine available in all locations. I could understand if I had showed up to the location right at closing but the location closes at 9pm plenty of time to make a simple smoothie. The first location needs the right supplies to function and employees with better attitudes. As I’m sure I was not the only customer they upset today.

I have attempted to visit this location prior to work on several occasions. Today was yet another wasted trip. The store hours should definitely be adjusted. 0700 hours the lights are off and no movement inside. The hours are posted on the store’s door and on google but they are not being matching what’s physically happening at this location. Order ahead, still have to wait. 7out of 8 unsuccessful attempts and that one visit wasn’t pleasant
Honestly it’s a hit or miss with this location but yesterday was awful. My wrap was not good and at all and lots of bad lettuce I had to remove just to eat it like ewwww
It's in a small space with just 2 or 3 tables and a bar with room for about 4 people, though it is bright and clean looking. I can't comment on the smoothies, but the hummus bowl I ordered was mostly lettuce with a heaping tablespoon each of hummus, smashed avocado with a strong lemon or lime flavor, black beans, and rice. Certainly nothing I'll ever crave. The kale slaw was the best part of the meal.
I will absolutely not be ordering from this specific location again. I ordered ahead for a 12:30 pickup. Arrived on time only to be told that they were out of most of my order. They hadn’t even attempted to prepare it before I arrived. Didn’t leave out until 12:55. Then they had hair everywhere and the kitchen was a mess. Never again. The Druid Hills location never gave me this kind of experience.
Never mind how the staff is dressed her attitude the lady ( not pictured) is nastier than the trash shown. This place is understaffed and incredibly dirty.
I had a mobile order (with no special changes) and the order came to me with the incorrect entree. Also, the kale salad smelled fishy. Totally inedible! But the smoothie was fine, as normal. That’s the only reason for two stars…
I tried to call to request a replacement/refund multiple times with no answer. I need to have my this order replaced or refunded.
