We went there for a smoothie and ended up with the new Acai bowls which were very good. (Why I gave food 5 stars). The service not so much. First there was a sign on the door that said cash only card machine down but was written in a mess. Then we waited for service to find out the card machine is working and had been but the sign was up. The counters were messy, things were sticky so we got the acai bowls to be safe. While they were making them, a worker told the other worker to go easy on the Blueberries because they were almost out. It was loud enough for the whole place to here. Others came in and no employees acknowledged them or helped them. Finally a kid came and took the orders but you could tell it wasn't his job but he was unhappy with no one helping them. They definitely need some management and direction to make the place work.
We'd love to hear from a Store Manager about the absolute HORRIBLE service we received here today. We understand it's the beginning of the season as we both work in the tourism industry but when ya try and grab a smoothie on your day off to relax and you're met with rude employees, over filling trash cans and employees telling us they had to help everyone else first even though our order was given to the wrong person you can understand why we asked for a refund and still to our surprise after waiting over 30 mins still met with attitude. Obviously there's a disconnect for this location with staffing or training.
Service was good but disappointed in the size of the acai bowl. For $12 plus a tip, so overall, about $14, I expected a bigger acai bowl. The granola was in large chunk bars like they were just opened out of the Nature's Valley box and laid in there. I was expecting it in crumbles. I paid extra for peanut butter, and it was literally a teaspoon size, almost $2, I expected more. Barely any honey was drizzled.
The overall taste was good, and the fruit was fresh. The inside was clean and well kept.
I would possibly back and try their other products.
General Manager or Regional Manager, you had two young men working a shift around 3 pm on March 16th, during the most busiest day, time, and weekend. TWO fabulous working young men, understaffed store to handle such a high volume. Their faces were tired, yet focused and knocked it out. YOU BETTER give them a bonus pay and acknowledgment, and if you do not, you don't deserve such committed employees. They were fabulous! 10 trillion star service for those two young men for the service and food!
I LOVE this place! ????
They have a great variety of food & drinks
I would recommend trying their Acai smoothie and Their white cheddar chicken sandwich. It’s so delicious ???? & it’s healthy!
The staff is always friendly
Their restaurant Is always clean
They always have plenty of seating (although I usually order to go)
Ordering online is a breeze! (I would recommend doing an online order because you earn points toward free smoothies and food!)
I've never liked their smoothies because they taste powdery. My daughter asked me to pick up food from there so I decided to give them one more try - North Myrtle Beach. The kale salad is literally 2 teaspoons of yuck - we ordered 2...disappointed and trashed. The quesadilla was chewy like it had been microwaved - we ordered 3 - one was trashed immediately. Corn was literally 2 tablespoons.
I actually watched the server take one of the items out of a fridge, remove the top, and stick the plastic container in the microwave- DO NOT MICROWAVE PLASTIC.
Paid for a boost in my daughters smoothie- she said it was supposed to be green but they left it out - I didn't know. $30 wasted - never again!!! I'll drive 45 minutes from Calabash to Conway to get my Jamba
Please do something about the horrible smell of sewage that smacks you in the face when you walk in. Smoothies great. Staff behind counter could not care less about me coming in and preferred to talk among themselves about their schedule.
Freddy rocks! He always helps me pick and customize my smoothies, I haven't had one I don't like yet. I look forward to coming here every week not just bc the smoothies taste amazing and are huge, but the staff are always so nice and welcoming. Ella is also super friendly and helpful. Everytime I'm in there they're cleaning something. 11/10 for staff, value, and quality!
