I ordered fried turkey and this is what I received. They put the plantain on top to cover what they give you. They should be ashamed. This was dinner time 6:00 after work and so was hungry and too tired to return it. They need to do better ???? Nothing but bones one piece of meat.
They used to be the best haitian spot but in the last week twice already got subpar orders, fried turkey nothing but big bones no meat, mediocre food at best. Do yourself a favor and go and try Nessa's kitchen , truly amazing haitian food
We put in 3 different orders in. The food was delicious! We could taste the right amount of season, there was true love put into the food as they cook it, the meats didn’t have lots of fat in it. Great portions! The restaurant is more on the modern side and colorful colors with an accent black geometric 2D wall that definitely stand out, the kitchen area is open and you are able to see it, the area is clean, customer services was great, the lovely lady came in check on us. We travel from a different state and we definitely we will be back!
It’s a nice place but the food ain’t ready banan was burnt the griot and turkey taste like it’s from yesterday and why is the pickles pink taste like vinegar and sweet lettuce looks good but not good at all never again save the bucks macaroni no taste has some kind of leftover meat just plain horrible
Best Haitian food in Palm Beach county! Large portions and gourmet flavor/presentation is all you need to know…Tropical Island is way better than that horrible, racist Pam Pi Mon restaurant that’s nearby. Tropical Island will not disappoint!
This place served me my first meal upon leaving airport when I vacated to Florida . It was recommended from Floridians
I ordered the stewed chicken rice n peas , salad. It was soooo over-rated. I was disappointed. I'm not Haitian but I didn't get what that food should offer. I could've made it better myself. Stewed chicken should be simmered in a tasty broth. Well it was 2 measly ugly looking drums that was fried then put in a sauce that was runny and the rice was dry. I'm not Haitian but I think they could do wayy better.
It's about time that we have a first class Hatian restaurant in our area. Very friendly, professional and courteous staff. The food was EXCELLENT!!!!. The restaurant was clean. Wow, I'm highly impressed. Stay this way, please.
