Great venue, very quick service, you only get a couple of hours if you sit early (it's popular) we were a group of 7. 4 of us had set meal D the others ordered individually. We were all stuffed at the end. Great evening and just shy of £40 a head, including drinks. P.S The duck/pancake dish was superb.
Fantastic Chinese food. We have visited so many times and it’s superb every single time!
Our favourite dishes are the fried salt and pepper squid and kung pao prawns, but everything is amazing!
The food was just gorgeous at Trongs today. Authentic and rich in flavour across the board. Service was friendly by the team and the owner. Staff were attentive and brought water to the table automatically. It is a shame they do not do larger sizes in soft drinks. Also I had asked for items such as a straw for the drink or cutlery and this was forgotten. The toilets although compact did the job. I would still however recommend and visit again given the minor flaws noted today. Free parking after 18:00 using the car park opposite the location.
We had an excellent meal here tonight with impeccable service, even in spite of a large group who caused the owners a lot of hassle tonight. Could not recommend this place enough. Reasonably priced for a brilliant selection of food. Definitely will be coming back.
This has been one of my favourite restaurants for years. The quality is exceptional and it is consistently excellent. This latest visit was no exception. The staff are welcoming and engaging. The food is always quick to arrive, no matter what you choose from their extensive menu. I can highly recommend.
Early Friday evening this restaurant was buzzing. Soo pleased we booked. Attentive but not intrusive service. Excellent food. Wish we lived locally. Only one very small niggle as it was very busy the noise increased to a very high level was pleased to be seat on the edge of the main eating area.
Appalling, physically and verbally anbusive, aggressive staff. We had 24 guests and were treated so badly. The manager/ owner lost is self control over some party poppers, which he knew we had! He throw a massive tantrum after we had all paid! (£2500) screaming at guests pushing a friend of mine into a table, he kicked me, pushed me out the door. Utter madness! Never ever have I seen behaviour like this in a restaurant. Iv seen it at work as I’m a nurse. Clearly needs some mental health support.
Save your hard earned money from somewhere else!
Lovely restaurant, even better food. Good service. Quite a small place, and gets busy, so probably best booking in advance. I believe they also do takeaway.
