Made my way stateside from Windsor and Googled a Balkan restaurant with Cevapi. Troja came up and didn’t disappoint! The staff was great and friendly to all customers who came in. There was indoor and outdoor seating and kept clean and tidy. I ordered the 10 piece cevapi with bread and kajmak to go. It was ready quickly and came with coleslaw and cheese as well. It smelled so good I couldn’t resist digging in before I snapped a photo. Will definitely be back and recommending to friends and family. Thank you!
My husband stopped here last night while in Livonia for business. I called in the carry out order. The woman who answered the phone was SO nice, despite the fact that I couldn’t pronounce much! She assured me that she understood, and our order was correct AND delicious! We had never had Albanian food, and our expectations were not high, yet everything was surprisingly flavorful!

Two of my favorite things on the menu are the cheese burek (add hot sauce) & the Greek salad with chicken. The chicken is marinated very well. The restaurant is clean and the food is always very fresh! 10/10 recommend!

We came from Toronto to visit Troy city and one of our first destinations to visit was Albania Cuisine Troja.
What to say first, their hospitality from the moment you cross your foot in their restaurant just gives you shivers of nostalgia how it used to be the nice services and hospitality in Albanian eateries hosts.
I tried to try a bit of everything and each plate was better than the other.
And for the end, out of their true Gjakova hospitality I got a short black coffee of all times.

Honestly never had Albanian food! Leona was such an awesome server and seemed passionate about serving a food that has been a tradition in her family! I’m glad they are making dishes to share with us regular folks! ???? I would love to come here again when I’m in the area!! Ps put the hot pepper flakes on that mmmm & I had to get extra bread to-go!!
Absolutely LOVE this place !!!!!! The food is amazing and the family who runs this place are some of the best people I’ve met ! We will absolutely be coming back .
