See video of the internal space/waiting area. This is a no frills, simple, honest, trustworthy Place for me - a woman with no expertise in cars - to just come to. I had 3 other places say I needed an appt and that they couldn’t even handle me as a walk in. I’ve been looking for 3 days near my workplace and my home. Luckily, this is very close to my commute route and it’s just an unassuming place. I wasn’t sure they were open because of the shade screen out front, but you walk in and there’s a waiting area, bathroom, and a vending machine for soda.

I chose this place because I read google reviews! I called this morning, frantic, because I leave for work earlier than most auto places open and then get back after their last service appt, and I was given a warning for my brake light last night!

I explained everything to Mike on the phone. He was attentive, asked me to call on the way to see if they could squeeze me in this afternoon, which they did… 30min. In and out and brake light and headlight all switched out and vehicle assessed. Thank you for making this easy and safe for me.

I have been using Tripp's Auto Tech for many years. I really appreciate their expertise and the quality of the work. In particular, I value their honesty. They will only make repairs that are necessary and tell the client the truth about the conditions of the vehicle and what needs to be done. Also their prices are honest and fair.

Tripp's is the best repair shop in Katy, and at the top of the list for all of Houston . They are extremely prompt, ethical ,and offer a range of auto services. We had some estimates for our truck ,but the price Tripp's gave us was far better than any other shop. It was ready within just a few hours, and was even less than what we were quoted; happy customers for life! We highly recommend this outstanding business! I had a windshield wiper issue on my car that no one else could fix. Thank you Tripp’s for the help! My car is all functional again.

Best experience I have ever had with car repair. Friendly people, but most of all, honest. My car AC stopped blowing cold air. I took it to my dealership; they told me I had a bad compressor, and quoted me $1,269.

On a suggestion from a neighbor, I took it to Tripps. They checked for leaks in the system, did not detect any, and charged it with refrigerate. Total charge: $98.45.

This is my car repair shop for life.
