Bought a car (Renault Clio 2009) from here for a non-negotiable £1000. Was told that MOT would be included. I had 6 months left on the MOT, asked to have it re-arranged for 6 months down the line instead (this was agreed) but when the time came, proprietor wanted £45. I went to Pontiates instead who were absolutely great.
Only had the vehicle 6 months. Cost £400 odd in additional costs, including a puncture I was told had been repaired initially.
Disc brakes needed replacing badly, which were replaced for free, but that was the extent of the guarantee unfortunately. Tried to charge me for everything else that I found was necessary.
There is a lot more I could explain here, but for the purposes of review, I wanted to keep it short. Basically, was told I'd 'be looked after' before full purchase of vehicle regarding its repairs, and when enquiring about guarantee. I even paid a hefty deposit to them in cash as requested for them to avoid a bank charge.
Not an easy man to talk to, found them to be quite arrogant at times.
I remember I broke down shortly after purchase. I called the proprietor for assistance as it is a service they offered, but they told me to call RAC instead.
I phoned a mechanic near Kidwelly for advice to repair the car, and they came out free of charge to assist me.
Will never use Trimsaran Tyres again. Feel absolutely let down.
