There's no signs for northbound or southbound on either side of the track. No help around. There isn't any boards for train arrival times. Trains leaving every hour? How convenient is that for the working class. How about every 30 minutes. Terrible rail system coming from a superpower nation. Looks like a 3rd world bus station.
Nice serviceable train station. Always crowds well maintained
Cleaner quiet ride. Security is helpful desk customer service is friendly. The station is clean and Tri-Rail is reliable. My only request would be to create a longer train for am rush and extend evening service later than 9pm
Decent train station, no AC but a nice breeze. Trains come about every 15 minutes and it’s $2.25 to travel. If you need to get to the airport you can take the tri rail or metro rail here.
Very quick and easy transfer station if your coming from the north and want to go to downtown Miami, although it’s in a bad area but nothing has really ever happened and it’s safer than you’d think.
This station has very poor directional signage. When you exit the Metro Train and continue to the Tri-Rail station, there is nothing to indicate which Tri-Rail track is northbound or southbound. There are two train tracks - Track 1 and Track 2. The attendant behind the ticket counter was rude and was flippant about answering questions. Luckily, there are automated ticket machines you can use, but to find them you need to wander throughout the station because there are no visible directional signs to direct you to the machines. There are no escalators to take you to the bridge that straddles the train tracks, facilitating transfers between Track 1 and Track 2. There are only stairs and dirty, smelly elevators. ***Even though you do not need to open a gate gate or turnstile, you MUST have a valid fare ticket to ride Tri-Rail. Officers frequently and randomly patrol the train for fare evaders.***
Pretty convenient station to transfer from Metro-rail to Tri-Rail.
I come to this station sometimes in the evenings after work to take the Tri Rail home. For some reason they single track on weekday evenings. It's usually not a problem but they should have a plan B in case of emergencies. Yesterday the Northbound train that arrives at this station at 5:29 broke down and instead of using the other track so the next train could pick us up at its scheduled time, they had us all at a standstill until almost 6:30. That's not right.
