Amazing fort, it's mod property so you can't go in but can walk past on the foot path to see this impressive building. Great beaches and coastal paths too!
Nice walk around the outside of the fort. This is currently in use by the military so you cant go inside. You can carry on walking along the footpath that runs along the cliffs of the coast. Lovely views. Walk is hilly.

Stayed here for a two weeks summer camp whilst serving in the armed forces. Absolutely loved it. The beach below the Fort was stunning. Don't know if it's still the same today but there was a firing range down to the left of the Fort that when in use restricted access to the surrounding area.

Worst AirBnB ever. Room was cold and drafty, no hot water, and the other guests were all really mean. Location was okay, I guess.
Not a lot to do or see as there is no entrance as being used by the military, I am sure the inside would be more interesting than the rather sombte neopolonic exterior
