Salad was good bacon was done well and chicken was crispy. The waitress left the entire bottle of ranch at the table which was perfect. Waitress was very nice. Will return when in the area.
I ordered chili fries and an egg salad sandwich.
My fries vere very cold with no chili and the egg salad sandwich had old wilted lettuce and too much relish in it. The pickles on the side looked as if someone either ate the middle part out or scraped out the center seeds and it smelled spoiled. I threw everything away and bought food from another restaurant. Not happy.
Just mediocre all-around. The sliders def. didn’t win best in metro-Detroit(so far that goes to Hunter House), the cottage fries were rather soggy & their chili is a sweeter TX style; not coney! That’s sacrilege in these parts. The restaurant & bathrooms were quite dirty & the service wasn’t the best. We didn’t receive silverware & had to wait & wait while our food got cold for the waitress to come back.
Don’t skip out on their sliders, that’s what they’re known for! I always get the patty melt and it never disappoints. Quick service, in and out.
This is my 3rd time here. Service, food quality/preparation and cleanliness is superb! I'm typing this review as I finish eating breakfast. Look how perfect my sausage links, eggs and hash browns are prepared! The staff is so friendly. My first time here I took my meds too early that day (causes me confusion), left my phone on the table. Went back and they had my back. They would not even accept a $30 tip for returning it. The manager said, " no no no, it happens here all the time. We do not accept finder fee tips"! Love this place!!!!
The service was terrible, We waited too long for her to take our order, when there was 1 other table in there. Then it took entirely too long for our order to be made.. my sons sandwich got made wrong and they still tried to give it to him, my chicken wrap was cold and was mostly breading pieces, the fries were old and cold too. I never got a chance to complain because the server NEVER came back to the table, so no refills, nothing! So luckily my boyfriend ordered the 6 sliders, so i tried them & I ate 2 of those, they were better than my own sandwich & that's the only reason I'm leaving 2 stars. The restaurant was a mess, when they were slow and almos closed, you'd think it would be more clean towards the end of the shift. I wouldn't have tipped if I paid the bill.. I've been in the food industry for more than 15 years and that experience was ridiculous and just unprofessional.
Classic, old school diner with excellent food, great staff and beautifully managed and run. Been coming here since and kid and will continue to do so. The Travis burgers are a MUST but be WARNED! They will be greasy. If ordering takeout make sure to double bag. Thank you for your service and for feeding me and my family over the years. Big Blue out.
It has been a while since I was here, but the last time I was there, I received amazing service and food. The waitress was quite sweet. It was 2017, late at night. I had chicken tenders. It was a difficult time for my family, and I spaced out on the way out to the car. I ended up tripping, and the waitress ran out to make sure I was okay. She was the sweetest waitress I have ever had. Luckily my leftovers didn't spill either! Overall, it was great. I hope to be in again sometime soon.
