We checked in on Tuesday and were informed that extending our stay would require notifying them by the next morning. However, in the morning, they told us that our room was sold and offered us a king room instead, which would require two rooms since there are two of us. We requested a price match, but they were unable to accommodate us, so we moved to a different hotel. At 3 am, after finishing work, we noticed that our room and most of the hotel was empty.
Overall the room was decent for the money. I don't think they have breakfast the lady only mentioned coffee.
Not handicap accessible. No features listed in the details listed in the room description. Very, very small room. First and last stay at Travelodge. Not even anyplace to hang clothes.Rooms are extremely far away from any entrance/exit. We have reason to visit Jeff but will stay in others in the future. Billing is also very questionable. Two nights in a $64 room cost $180?
Stayed 1 night. Good rate. Room with queen size bed was a little on the small side. Room and bath were clean. Microwave and fridge worked great. Great, no frills hotel. Fyi: Dominoes is 2 minutes away and delivers!
Positive: Very clean! Staff is absolutely amazing! I liked that it was quiet. Totally appreciate the laundry room. Negative: I wish the fridge was a bit bigger. Since they don't offer breakfast they should accommodate a larger fridge. With kids I need the space for their milk. Negative: ""
My wife and I stayed at the Travelodge in Jefferson City while en route to southeastern Missouri to see the recent total solar eclipse and then on to Georgia to visit family. We arrived at about 6:30 p.m. on the Sunday evening before the eclipse. The front desk clerk, Jennifer, was very friendly, conversational, and showed the best of hospitality that you'll find throughout Missouri. Same was true for Teresa who checked us out early at 5:00 a.m. the next morning as we got underway for our eclipse viewing destination.||The room itself was basic but included a refrigerator, which helped as we were able to pick up lunch for the next day to have while waiting for the eclipse once we got to our viewing spot in Poplar Bluff, Mo. and keep it cold until we left in the morning. Unfortunately, we found the room was somewhat lacking as far as well-located working outlets; the ones closest to the bed were all inoperative.||Prices for the night we stayed the closer you got to the path of totality for the eclipse increased. The base price of the room was not bad, but the $40 fee per pet for the night (our two cats accompanied us on the trip) seemed excessive. It was nonetheless the least expensive overall option we could find in the region that gave us some flexibility for our final choice of eclipse-viewing destination based on the weather forecast. However, if you're traveling with pets, this motel we thought was a poor value for what we paid and is a better choice without pets if you just need a basic room for the night.
Very basic hotel with clean, comfortable rooms that have been updated. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Very little noise. The only thing I found odd was the bed was basically in the corner when there is plenty of room for it to be more centered with a bedside table on each side. We ended up scooting the bed over and using the footstool for a bedside table so both of us had easier access. Four pillows would have been better than 3 and I'm sure we could have asked for another but just didn't. The nearby Perkins was clean and their food was great. We would stay again if in Jefferson City.
That was literally the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. There is a metal platform and mattress with, apparently, a bar across the center ar hip level. It was like a lumpy rock! The pillows are ok. Room was fairly clean, but only set up. We took the advice of another review and squeezed the footstool in to use as a table. Only soap and a bottle of all-in-one shampoo. There were coffee cups, but oddly, no coffee maker. We also had an issue because we moved from Jefferson City, but I never changed my license. Luckily my husband did, so we simply stood there in the lobby and did a new reservation in his name. Right in front of the clerk...the exact same two people. Really.
The hotel seemed newly renovated. The location was great! Near lots of fast food and sit down restaurants. We had a mix up on whether we smoked in the room or not and they fixed it asap! Highly recommend.
