A very warm welcome a beautiful traditional pub. Very friendly staff. The waitress a breath of fresh air. And the food was traditional good cooked and presented lovely a set menu is available at a very good price. We had soup pates fish, and my husband hasn't stopped talking about his pie, and braising steak and home made desserts apple crumble and steamed puddings, absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended. Can't wait to return. Thank you

Went here at lunchtime for a meal with friends - not busy when we arrived, but got busier while we were there - but this did not cause any issues. Good choice on the menu with discounted offers - two courses for £9.95. Food was very nice though the chips looked overcooked. Good choice of desserts and generous sized portions. Well worth a visit.
Pub closed early just as we got there at 7.30 they said they closed as no one there.
After I rang at 7pm asking are you open the reply was yes we drove from Rotherham and we were turned away. NOT GOOD BUSINESS DONT THINK. ?????
