Authentic Italian cuisine in a tiny town in Iowa. For the area, it is exquisite. Really friendly and attentive owners and staff and tasty food. Lunch special available. We had the Shrimp pasta and very yummy calamari. Check it out!
My friends and I drove from Sioux Falls to check this place out and - WOW! What the building lacks in atmosphere it more than makes up for with their food and service. Our server was very attentive and all of the dishes that came out were incredibly yummy. As expected on a Saturday, they were quite busy and the food took awhile to come out. But the wait was worth it! Definitely recommend.
A couple weeks ago my wife and I drove up to Trattoria Buon Gusto for dinner! It’s always worth the drive because the views are amazing, staff is super friendly, and Chef José is truly a master at creating fabulous, delicious food! We always enjoy every chance we have to visit!
Another great small town find worth the drive. This was just some very good fresh cooked meals, not the typical industrial taste of a chain.
The charcuterie board was filled with great selections, the calamari was fresh and delicious. All of the main courses were great and the canolie was great but the lemon cakes was phenomenal!! Take the trip and go enjoy!
Food is great! It is quite a drive for us but well worth it. Every dish we have had there has been great in flavor! Sometimes the wait is longer than others but thats ok because in the end you get a great tasting meal.
I did not expect such an amazing Italian restaurant in a small tall, but I was blown away by the food. The flavors were amazing. The grilled vegetable appetizer could be a main dish, and the balsamic glaze on them was perfect. The crab ravioli special had the most amazing sauce. I will definitely be coming back when I'm in town again.
Lovely little Italian surprise located in rural Iowa. Fabulous food, but service was weak and could use some improvement. Waitress was not attentive, and little things like water and drinks were left greatly unattended to.
Hayley took great care of us last night. Food was excellent - apps, dinner, and dessert. The chef and owner sent us home with limoncello cake on the house. Will definitely be eating here again.
