Nadine is on point in the kitchen. She came out to our table and we let her know how much we enjoyed everything. Nadine was gracious and sent us out a sample of her banging black eyed peas and rice. Gigi pours your drink to perfection. Our waitress. Key, was pleasant and gave top notch service. All around A1 dining experience!
Wow…my expectations were obviously way too high…. The food was sub par… The service was aight .. I paid 20 dollars for a margarita in a short plastic cup .. at first it was only margarita mix lol I had to go to the bar and request additional alcohol in it since I was paying 20 bucks .. they were nice about it .. may I suggest Tip if you are charging 20 dollars for a trap margarita at least put some Don Julio or more of a top shelf tequila in it … not a wells…. My friend and her husband were also very disappointed and expected more .. not to mention 20 dollars to park smh very disappointing
Food and service was good, drinks were strong. We came midday so it wasn’t really busy. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. It’s within walking distance to the Trap Museum. My only complaint is that they don’t have plastic utensils. Trap City Cafe is probably a true vibe in the evening.
So the service was great, the atmosphere was on point. Hookah was made well regardless of the hookah girl not being there and they only had a few flavors out of the 10+ that were advertised on the menu. The food was awful, lacked flavor and very overpriced for a piece of salmon wrapped in egg. “Omelette” . Looks like they microwave the eggs. They serve w/ plastic utensils which I didn’t mind. The dinner/lunch menu isn’t available till 5pm so if you aren’t a breakfast/ brunch person at 3pm that throws you off. Overall a GREAT place for tourist! Because the trap museum is next door. But it is not worth the prices. I’ve had better for less in Atlanta. I wouldn’t go back.
Parking is limited and it’s $20 for valet & self parking.
Loved spending time on the outside deck with the Big Guy. The food was delicious and the service, ambiance & music were great. There was a live violinist, DJ, a magician, and a photographer there for entertainment. We enjoyed a well-made hookah, drank lemon drops and cognac. I ate lamb chops with black-eyed peas & rice w/fried green tomatoes. Hubby had the sampler w/salmon sliders and bourbon terriyaki wings. We will definitely be back!
I had the pleasure of being served by Tana at Trap City Cafe in Atlanta, and I must say her service was exceptional. It exceeded all my expectations to the point where I would happily make the trip back to Atlanta just to be served by her again. Every aspect of the service was flawless, making the overall experience top-notch. I eagerly anticipate my next visit and look forward to being treated to Tana's exceptional service once more.
The food was not good it taste like frozen food if there is a chef he /she should do better i had gritty, shrimp and grits it was cold they had glowers on top that were wilted. There was no silver on the table and then when we got some the server said she went to wash some. Some drink was in plastic cups. We got searched coming in and it was paid parking. I would not recommend this place. Over priced...
Wings are tiny like real tiny. Table was extremely wobbly. They added another $12 on my tab for no reason. I just paid and left. Also parking is $20 not sure if it’s a hustle or if it’s real. We already had tickets for the museum so we decided to eat here bc we paid $20
