This place sucks. I have been in the military 19 years and have not had as a big an issue getting my dity processed as here. PCS from outboard location gives me a list of things I need to submit. I submit exactly what they asked for to Bliss, well, they ask to change a form and request additional stuff. It was a pain, but whatever. I do it and then I got an Email from dfas, that the claim was rejected 6 times. I’m confused so I call dfas and they said someone had sent the claim 6 separate times with different information in the forms. Some signature from reviewers was missing, some information was completely different. What the heck! Meanwhile I PCS’d two months ago and still no payment for my dity move.
Nothing you can’t do from home tbh. The person in the front desk was great, but once you go on the computers to do all the information needed I never received a brief that later I found out I was supposed to receive! They expect you to read 25+ pages on the computer instead of telling you the information. Not the best but they did got my appointments and everything how was supposed to. The only thing I can say is ask any questions y’all have and they should know the answer for sure. Don’t expect them to tell you all you really need to know, better ask and be ready than unprepared.
I got a short notice assignment and late orders and I was afraid I wouldn’t get TMO here before I left. Thankfully the Transportation office was very patient with me and we were able to figure everything out even with the last minute nature of the military. Thank you.

First of all, no one ever picks up the phone. How do you have 6+ different phone numbers and not one of them gets through to anyone? They also do not communicate any date changes with the moving companies, when they say they do. Either that or the staff are not on the same page when it comes to these things, as well as document requirements. One person said they needed a POA for each shipment (UB, HHG & NTS) while another person didn’t care at all. Lack of standards across the office.
The girls are really nice and helpful there but it's kind of self serve. You go and use the computers there to make your own shipment and answer all the questions. I guess it helped me to learn how the system works for the future ????♂️ but I imagine it would be faster if they had people just answer questions and then the workers put the responses in themselves since they know what each item online is and they can explain it to each person if they don't know. Either way there wasn't much waiting and they were really helpful to get my shipment rolling. Overall not bad.
My move was short notice (like 2 weeks) and in October, a high transition period for many, but they were still able to get me prioritized. The wait to be seen at the counter was less than 30 mins; and the interview to confirm weight and coordinate shipment was less than an hour. The staff is knowledgeable on Reserve moves and were able to answer questions immediately. I really appreciate the support, patience, and kindness of the Staff during such a high stress and rapid relocation. I didn't even need to do a DITY/partial. The company used packed fast and my HHGs arrived earlier than expected.... And NOTHING was broken or damaged. Thanks for an amazing experience.
The 2 girls at the front desk are super friendly and awesome at customer service. Same goes for the PPM move briefing lady. Now how the PPSO handles my move, I will let you know after the move is completed.
