I visited this place because I thought my transmission was slipping. I was greeted by Mr. Dixon who sent Omar to assist me. Omar placed the reader on my car and explained there's no issue with my transmission. Then, he cleared the errors and asked me to return the next day to double check. I returned this morning and Omar explained to me the issue and offered to recommend me to a mechanic. Being a woman, he could have easily said there was an issue and took my money. But, Omar was honest with me, unlike some mechanics, and very pleasant to deal with. He literally took the time to figure out the issue and give me a resolution. I was so thankful for that!
This shop has been very good for my Brother and I ever since I can remember.
I would never recommend this shop, they repaired my car's transmission, they wanted to charge me more than agreed, they damaged my engine mounts, they damaged my air conditioning and then when I went to pay the total, they wanted to charge me more money, at Another day after taking the car out of the workshop, I realized that they also broke my radiator and so that I wouldn't notice, they put a hit on it right there. They are very irresponsible, dishonest. WE FEEL SCAMMED AND DISCRIMINATED. We had to buy everything that they damaged us, because they did not respond for absolutely nothing. I would Never recommend them. NEVER
As the owner of classic muscle I've use Herald and transmission specialist a few times now never go wrong Harold's got a lot of knowledge to get your car moving again. I highly recommend
Harold is a MASTER mechanic. He REALLY CAN fix almost any issue. If he says it's broke, and HE cant fix it, it's unfixable. I'm a return client, not because of bad work, but B/C of EXCELLENT , reasonably priced, guaranteed work.
worst place ever never take your care here, i took my infinity there to get my transmission looked at i parked my car out front and told the owner my issues, i had my car there for a whole week i drove by the shop different days and my car was never moved nor looked at, i called and the owner to ask about my car and he tells me that he had looked at my car and that my car needed a new transmission, came to find out the only issue was my neutral position safety switch. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE
My fiance and I purchased a car from DeFalco motors back in January. There was an issue with the transmission so they took it here. After 2 or 3 months they finally decided to open up the car and determined it needed a new transmission. It's now been at this shop for over 4 months. The amount of times that this place said the car would be ready and was not is at least 5 or 6 times. We have been waiting for the car since January, and when DeFalco motors went to pick up the car it had a dead battery from sitting out for over 4 months. I don't know how a transmission shop can be so incompetent, but take your car anywhere other than here.
Harold is someone that I trust from 15yrs ago when his staff serviced a prior vehicle of mine & recently did me a solid & helped me greatly once again! I highly recommend his services he will treat you fairly & help resolve your issue.
