A friend of mine recommended Trans Pro for a timing chain job I needed done on my Xterra. I can't tell you how happy I am with this place. I've been a mechanic in the military for 8 years and this shop did excellent work for a great price. They were flexible with the work I wanted done and didn't try to sell me on anything extra. It looks like they may have even fixed a valve cover leak without charging me. I highly recommend them and will definitely go back for any future work.
Jose the owner is amazing. Overhauled my transmission seven months ago. Check engine turned on. It was a solenoid error in trans. Took it back and Jose didn't question much.. other than asking for the receipt to look at the mileage. Proceeded to fix it and off I went. No hassle... great customer service.
Great service. We stranded in this town with a broken transmission. José had a look, promised to fix it asap and within 24 hours we were back on the road. All with a smile and a joke. Exactly what we needed in this misery. In the end there was a mixup with the payment and we paid 100 dollar too much, but José send it to us even when we were abroad. We could not recommend this place more!
I took my Ford 2005 F-150 there mid 2019 for a power steering pump everything was functioning great and then late Janurary it suddenly stopped working properly. I took in back to Jose and he was very kind and eager to help me at no cost after to put a replacement sadly that didnt fix the problem, but he didn't quit until he solved the solution. Eventually he got to the bottom of it, its safe to say I can count on him and his team for any kind of work their honest and will help you when you ask for it. Great Shop & Great People ????
My Hyundai xg350 had the TCS light on the dashboard on wouldn't turn off , so I was having trouble smoging the car . He found and corrected the problem.
When Jose called me to pick up the car he said $600 on the phone then he charged me $650.and didn't even hand me an invoice recipe.oh and the TCS light still on on the dashboard.
I brought my 2002 Hyundai xg350 TCS light was on so this technician Jose said it's probably the transmission is shot he said 12000 dollars then he called and said transmission was ok it would be about $500. And change .so on March 3rd he called and said it's ready it's going to be $600. So I go pickup the car and it's now 650 dollars, I get no invoice recipe and the TCS light is is still on.
So very unprofessional and scheming money from paying taxes.
Thank you to Transpro for hooking up my transmission for half the price of other mechanics. And even when they were quoted and sent the wrong transmission, and knew the right one would be more. He kept the price that same! Will definitely be going back
