I found this little whole in the wall and I have never been more pleased with restaurant. If you are looking for a good time and great food you have got to come to this place! everything Is hand made and the staff are so friendly. The chicken fried steak is top notch and puts other places to shame. The price was also very decent for the amount of food we recieved. I will definitely return!
We had BLT and fries they were pretty good. Home grown tomatoes were just great
Very Nice people. Small dining area, but has a patio to use also like it. They serve breakfast all day long too. Yum.
I enjoyed the food very much! Some of the best country fried steak i've ever had. Fries, hashbrowns, fried zuchinni. All was delicious.
Everything i saw had a home made look and taste to it. Kudos to the chef.

We took a chance and stopped for breakfast because it was very cute and inviting with beautiful wild flowers and cute decorated buildings....Oh my!! I'm happy we did. We plan to back for lunch today before we leave. We had the chicken fried steak - It's covered in sausage gravy....best we ever had and the big grilled croissant breakfast sandwhich...real ham on it and it took two hands to hold it. One of my favorite things is that it is dog friendly and they have a menu. Nice covered area out back for your pets and they provide pet bowls. If your in Mound City ...make sure to stop by and say a bite and buy some produce.
I won't hesitate to be back.... comfort food and home cooking to boot! Count us in! But the best part is I'm a pet owner. I travel with my pet. This place let's your furry companion join Porkchop, the house pup, in the yard for playtime. Fantastic smoothies, awesome hot beef and for breakfast the hubby had a chicken fried steak meal. The hashbrown were hand shredded with real potatoes, the sausage gravy was amazing. The biscuits homemade and don't expect to show up quickly and leave if you want the full effect of this eatery. Outdoor seating let's you sit outside with your pet as you order off the doggy menu, located on the back of your menu. This place has the home feel to it and I can't wait til renovations are complete so please excuse any construction as you will be kindly greeted with awesome food as well. Travelers passing thru. Take the time to stop...you will be glad you did. We were.
Absolutely love this place. Great food, very friendly folks and accomodating for my dog with a doggy menu. I have no problem driving 3 hours to visit and have lunch. Don't hesitate to come here.
The best restaurant in mound city and Pleasenton Kansas combined. The bbq is mouth watering and the service is great. I love that I can sit outside and enjoy my meal or inside as well. The ribs are fall off the bone good I will visit this restaurant over and over
What a great experience! It is the quintessential small town restaurant, with the personal touches you might expect from a small, family-owned place. That being said, the menu is very large and the service is exceptional.
