This was a great find for breakfast on our day trip. The Corned Beef Hash is the best I've had. Everything was made to order for me and my family. If you're in the area, be sure to stop in.
Our senior van had a reservation for 10 at noon. Our table was set up and waiting - good start! The menu is varied, the server was non-plussed with the idea of separate checks (which she handed out with no errors!), all 10 were served at the same time, nobody was unhappy with their selection or the service. Servings are copious, you will not leave hungry. Bonnie's Peanut Butter Apple Pie was a big hit (literally - it's about 2.5" high) and I took home a piece to share with my husband that night. He loved it! We'll be going there again for sure!
Delicious brunch! All of the basics but made really well!
Very good food, pretty basic and straightforward but tasty and fresh. Pricing is very reasonable, service is pretty quick. Good place to stop if you need something relatively fast that's going to be good. Plus, this place won't be that busy, even if the restaurants in Shelburne are crowded.
I was at the Trail TOC Diner, a couple of weeks ago and ordered a Reuben Sandwich. Best darn Reuben I've Ever had! Usually I get this sandwich with one side a bit mushy but, Not at the Trail TOC! There's is Magnifique! Thanks Bonnie Brown, for a #1 Reuben!

Great food, great owner/operator. Trail Toc has been a wonderful option for the breakfast crowd. When in Shelburne; TOC, the sugarshack/pancake houses, and Foxtown are some of the tried n true favorites. Bonnie and her cooking will be missed.
1 piece of toast with over easy eggs?really?The owner is off and on bitchy and reprimands employees out loud so everyone can hear.My 18 year daughter asked a simple question..."Do you serve breakfast all day here?"The answer would have been a simple yes or no but the response was"WELL IT WOULDN'T BE A DINER IF WE DIDN'T"...in a snide tone.Seriously snide tone.Last I knew serving breakfast all day is NOT what makes a diner a diner.
Good food. Basic, homemade, served fresh. Friendly staff. No issues or problems. Cash only. When we were there one person ran front and back of house, but we were only customers so worked out. Could be worse if busy.
