Local pizza / bar lounge. This would be what they originally looked and felt like, prior to the trendy sports bar and grill chains coming in.
Place isn’t run down at all, but not terribly up to date either. It’s what you would expect an older lounge to look like. They are more known for their pizza here, but they do have burgers and wings etc. Theres several things to choose from.
Couple different dining areas, and a bar in the middle. So you can choose to dine at a table, or sit right at the bar itself. You can get drinks at either location you choose.
Service was good. Stayed on top of things, but without being pushy. Was friendly as well.
We ordered a pizza and a chicken strip basket. The pizza was their Hawaiian Heat, which consists of Pepperoni, Italian sausage, onion, mushrooms, pineapple and jalapeño. The chicken strip basket was of course the strips and fries. The pizza had a healthy amount of toppings. Some places can make you feel short changed… especially with multiples. Here they did good to just pile them on. Chicken strips were good as well. Only complaint on the strips meal was there was no salt on the fries. And as most know, fries that come out fairly dry to the touch, don’t mix with granular salt. Just bounces off. Would have been good to have a little salt back when they first came out from cooking. But, considering no salt, they were still decent.
Ordered a jumbo combo yesterday and it was one of the best pizzas I've had out of Sioux City for a long time. Used to be a Westside or Jerry's fan but I found a new go to. Great job Townhouse!
When I first walked in it smelled funny like dooky. The customer service was amazing #save the turtles Anyways when I got my pizza the flavor was there but it was cold and hard!! Sadly disappointed will go back tho because the people are nice and this was delivery and I did arrive the time they told me
Dried up chicken with cheese and a bit of sauce. Very dry obviously bad chicken that was left out apparently than added to our 30 dollar pizza. A dollar store pizza has more favor. When I called to let them know response was " okay. Can I help you with anything else?" LOL they don't care...
Sad… I used to work here so coming back for a pick up order I was expecting decent food. Sadly I waited 40 minutes for my 20 minute pickup to watch them throw my burger on the grill in from of me rush the whole thing and then forget lettuce and tomato on the burger.(regular burger on the menu) Just really sucks knowing what it used to be. EDIT: First off my burger was completely wrong regardless of your “hot off the grill mindset” it was wrong and gross. They threw that half cooked bacon back on the grill for no more than 30 seconds with the hud over it. And with that nasty and cheese being the only topping I received on my 17$ meal is the reason I’m writing this review. The 40 minute wait time wasn’t the main reason but I guess justified since you told me 20? Right? Meanwhile just now returning home with my substitute Wendy’s. Drive thru took a while but well worth the wait to get everything I asked for in my bag. It’s like they gave me the 14$ I spent worth ????
I wish I could give zero stars. We waited for 2 hours to get our pizza and wings. We had ordered a combination pizza with extra sauce and got a hamburger pizza with light sauce. The wait was ridiculous. Everything was cold. The staff were absolutely rude. They tried blaming marketplace but we contacted them and they said it was townhouse. Marketplace thankfully were very nice people. I still can't get over the rudeness of the townhouse employees. Disgusting people.
If you want to eat pizza with dry, old chicken, then this is the place for you. We ordered a garlic chicken Alfredo pizza for $30. It did not have any sort of garlic on it at all, chicken was dry and hard, and there was not even a taste of alfredo sauce. First and last time I'll be ordering from them.
Disappointed on the wings we bought tonight. We ordered 50 wings. Unfortunately the wings were dry and when we called to let the manager in charge know there respond was to bring the wings so they could add more sauce. Any other restaurant would handle it in a different matter to satisfy the customer. Unfortunately Townhouse did not. I will no longer buy wings from them.
