I've been to a lot of bars, but none come close to the Town Pump in terms of warmth and welcome. It's the kind of place where you walk in and immediately feel at ease, thanks to the amazing service. The bartenders and staff? They're attentive, friendly, and really know their stuff.
Whether you're popping in for a beer and their famous coneys, or planning to catch the big football game, the Town Pump is the perfect spot. Speaking of games, their TVs and surround sound setup are phenomenal, making every game feel like you're right there in the stadium. The prices are unbeatably low, but it's the top-notch service that really sets this place apart.
The local crowd adds to the charm – super welcoming and always up for a chat. And if you're into pool, you're in for a treat. The pool table is always buzzing with friendly games and competition. It's a great way to meet people or just enjoy watching some good plays.
In all honesty, if I had to choose one bar to go to for the rest of my life, it would be the Town Pump. Don't miss out on this Lake City treasure!

This place is great! While there I had to use the restroom...I know TMI...but wait there's more ...the toilet seat was heated!
The staff is friendly and Kelly (I believe is one of the owners) was so friendly and funny.
We didn't have any of the food but other customers were having pizza and it looked and smelled go good! You won't regret stopping in for drinks and food....and the heated ???? seat ????????????
We really like the Town Pump! They have a good selection of domestic and craft beers on tap. Full bar, a little bit of food (that we've never tried honestly)

Great staff and great beer/ drink selection! The town pump has been around since I was a kid, who grew up in lake city. I see why they have been around for 52 years.. Its a must visit if you are in Lake City, or nearby! Great views to the lake, great outdoor patio, and great atmosphere!
Fantastic service! Great atmosphere! This is definitely a spot to stop when you’re in town. We came as a larger group. The outside patio has a good view of the lake and the staff were fantastic, taking care of everything we needed throughout the evening.
Terrible place to get drinks. Terrible bartenders who let their patrons act like idiots while harassing other customers. Will never be coming back
This place is your rural Irish pub where everyone knows your name. I introduced a few locals to an Irish drink known as an Irish Car Bomb. Missy, the bartender makes the best ones in Northern Michigan! You should ask her to make one!
