Absolutely cracking breakfast .. fabulous price ., and served by 2 of the most lovely ladies . Great humour!!
Will definitely return .. keep up the great work ladies ????????
I understand that people shouldn’t use the toilets if they are not a Customer, but the Manager at this Restaurant was absolutely Rude about this matter! She challenged Young children around 3 years old who didn’t even know where they were, for using the toilets. Over the time, around 30 People walked into the toilets without paying for anything. She shouted at these two young girls around 3 years old but wouldn’t dare say anything to the Adult. This seems to me like she thinks she is the best because she can be rude to little girls!
I will never come here again after seeing the treatment of those girls, I hope they Was Okay.
A hidden gem, had breakfast and was well presented and tasted very good, my only gripe is the sausages, they were a cheap variety and not a lot of meat in them, which is a pity as the rest of the breakfast was top notch. My partner had steak pie, chips, peas and gravy and said it was very very good. The portion sizes are great.
I'm gonna say this is an outstanding breakfast me and kids loved it even tho im a fussy eater. Definitely coming back..
Came in here this week, partner wanted something that was £4 and the minimum card charge was £5 so we didn't buy anything, fair enough - although card transactions cost businesses literal pennies.. strange they'd rather lose a £4 purchase over a miniscule charge but that's their choice.
What prompted this review was the fact the staff members then openly discussed the fact we didn't buy anything due to the minimum card charge, talking about how we shouldn't expect to be able to pay by card and how it's "lucky for some" - in what way is wanting to pay by card a form of luxury? Insinuating that we are being entitled for wanting to pay by card. They were then asking if they should "just do it" to which they then said "if we do it for one person we have to do it for all". Ridiculous. If you want a minimum charge that's your choice, but to openly slate the customer in front of them and make it out as if they were making an absurd request is disgusting customer service.
We have just left. The lady on the counter was absolutely lovely. She made jacket potatoes and kept everything separate for my little girl who has coeliac disease. She isn’t a big eater and the lady could see that and did her a small jacket with beans and cheese. Safe to safe she ate it all.
When ordering she asked what I wanted as I didn’t include myself but I wasn’t hungry but she was kind enough to ask.
Brilliant friendly staff, super service, every time we come skegg we go here for breakfast and then get baguettes to take on the train to go home, i can ashore you best price, quality, service you could ask for in a cafe that is in an amusement, highly recommended....... Well done guys xx
