Some really good Mexican Food. I had a combination plate with an enchilada and tostato. Every thing was seasoned and yummy. I will definitely be back. So far out of the 4 Mexican restaurants I've tried in Cd'a its the best!
Service was slow even though it wasn't busy but the meal was excellent. I'm okay with waiting at a small mom & pop shop. I got the steak fajitas- very tender steak. Portions were large and people were friendly. Loved their use of Spanish throughout the meal (and English of course)!
This is my favorite Mexican food in Hayden, ID.! Very good service and the quality of the dishes are above average. Not as much room for big parties as Rancho. The building looks to be well maintained as well.
Toro Viejo, Hayden: "The Old Bull" is a decent Mexican food restaurant in Hayden off Government. They serve up typical Mexican (American) fare. While I did not have anything extraordinary the hot version of their salsa is good. The service is also great which adds to the 4-star rating here.
It's not bad... kinda greasy, alittle watery, could use a bit more flavor... Drinks were good. Good service though, nice staff.
Only disappointment was the tomahawk steak, not thick and juicy as one would expect, instead just a thin ribeye.
Angelique provided exceptional customer service and we really enjoyed the food. Thanks for a great experience, Toro Viejo -- we'll be back!
The food and the service was great. The drink prices are absolutely in sane. 7 bucks for a domestic beer and 10.50 for a draft beer. Go there to eat and plan on drinking elsewhere.
