Best KPortal Reviews
The food was enjoyable at this location. Celiac-safe and gluten-free. The food was salty, so be careful if you have hypertension. We will be returning for another meal.
The food tastes good especially the corn tortillas and portion is huge. But WHY SO SALTY?!?! It feels like you are drinking sea water when you take a bite!! The salsa, sour cream are all super duper salty!! I would totally go back if they do half of the salt they put in there though. The salt totally ruined the good taste.
Unfortunately, this place went from being a fully gluten free facility to adding gluten into their menu with little to no notice to their customers. I learned of this by reading a review on the find me gluten free app and called the restaurant to confirm. They confirmed that they have indeed added gluten containing items. Yet their IG profile still says they are fully gluten free and I have not seen any clear communication that some items contain gluten now. It’s very obvious that many celiacs and gluten free people eat here so a lot of trust was lost in this transition.
First time here, My hubby ordered the Birria beef quesadilla he said it was alright, The quantity was good for Two people.
I finally got over to Toro last night to try it for the first time and was super happy with the entire experience. While not a big place, it's intimate and cozy with an attentive staff. The food was so dang tasty and as someone with Celiac, the fact that *everything* there being gluten-free is an enormous win. I can't remember the last time I was able to have a burrito, but I sure did get one last night with the Pollo Frito. So dang good. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tasty and low-key Mexican experience, especially if you are gluten-free like me.
Excellent food, great salsa, good service, large portions, and excellent decorations for a casual dining.
Went out Blue Back Square for lunch. Didn't know what to get and went on a Wham.
Pulled Maps and looked for the closest non-chain restaurant. Totally worth it.
Toro has the hole in the wall vibe, food truck homemade cooking love taste and a laid-back atmosphere all in one.
Service is only four because I am still not use to Sit anywhere, come up the counter to order and go back and wait at the table. I would give the service a 4.5 if I could.
Got street corn, nacho fries and the pizza. So much food ???? it. Worth every penny.
I was stuck in a little traffic and decided to go to Cheesecake Factory for a desert while driving to get back on the Highway I noticed the sugar skull mural & stopped to get a picture and decided to try their tacos why not… I tryed the pork wasn’t a fan but let me tell you I also got the chicken bacon ranch taco it was delicious, it was packed it was not skimpy at all I wished I had gotten all chicken. Would definitely go back if I’m back up that way. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly.
