10/2023 5* First time here. Just went through the drive thru. Took a while, but I guess that is good because it means it was all hot and fresh. Bacon burger was excellent. And the large bag of fries was good. A bit pricey. But good food. I will probably be back some time.
Grand re-opening on July 3rd. Drive through line was crazy long (45 minutes to order and get food). Assume it will get better over time. Only way to order and get food is drive through.
#4 special is Beef, bag of fries, and fountain soda. Food was excellent. Way too many fries. Can definitely share. $12.99 is reasonable for how much food comes with the special.
Glad they are back.
No cheese on my chili cheese dog, hot dog bun for "Maxwell Street Polish" (when I asked specifically if it was in French bread) and burnt onions, no sport peppers on "Chicago Style" hot dog, burnt hamburger on cheeseburger and they ran out of sausage pizza. GARBAGE
Drive thru only, food was decent, the line moved quick for it being only drive thru they have someone outside directing traffic because people do want to jump in front of you, customer service was awesome and the food was great! love their fries and chicken
Great place for a beef and other amazing food! I pass up a place that has turned into a poor service restaurant to go to Tore & Lukes. Worth the extra drive time for great food and service!
You will Never find a better hotdog and fries in all of Chicagoland!! Tore and Lukes food is amazing ! I have been going there to eat since 1977 walking from Hersey High school!
The drive thru to this location is absolutely tiny. They intentionally put tall curbs on both sides of the drive thru and I accidentally hit my car on one side damaging my rim. They intentionally put the ordering spot on a turn and they also put a curb on the other side so there is a good chance you hit the curb too.
They also charge a lot for a sandwich and fries. They charged me $16 plus a credit card fee even though modern credit card readers charge less than 1%.
I don't think I'd come back to this place again just due to the intentional design of this place being so rotten.
Great food and their fries are the best. Get them well done.
New location on Dundee east of Rand now open. Still great staff and fries!!!
