Best KPortal Reviews

This AYCE hot pot was definitely a step up from the other chain restaurants such as Boiling Pot and Tasty Pot. They maintain a high quality selection. They have unique biang biang noodles that were quite a delight. Never had them before, but I'd love to try it again. Basically thick chewy noodles with a great texture. A must have if you've never tried it before!
Kicking the New Year off a review of my ultimate favorite hot pot spot in all of the Bay Area!!! You have to trust me on this one.
Whether you're craving hot pot and/or bbq, you can get the best of both worlds all to yourself. Love that you can choose a broth and also grill at the same time.
Huge selections of meat, veggies, appetizers, soup bases, sauces/toppings, etc. All the ingredients are SUPER FRESH and HIGH QUALITY too! It's really hard to compare to other hot pot places. Not a single item I don't like on their menu.
Some must tries on the menu (imo):
- The biang biang noodles are a must have!
- Chinese Doughnut (soak this bad boi in your broth, your tastebuds will be enlightened)
- Beef belly is great on the grill!!
- Beef tongue (get your moneys worth)
- Fried bean curd
- Chinese yam
- Lettuce (idk what it is but their lettuce is so sweet so good)
- Fried taro
- TIP: put some green onions + oil on the grill until soft. Pair it with the meat. Flavor explosion. Thank me later. :)
Service is always top notch here. They're attentive and I never had to chase down someone for something. I like the seating layout where it's not too cramped and you have enough room to breathe. Plenty of parking outside the plaza which is what keeps me coming back!
Note: They only take reservations for parties of 6+. Wait times can be long esp during dinner time so if you don't want to wait, come right when they open for dinner. Don't underestimate the wait time for weekday dinner either.
Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!!
Hands down the best ramen I have ever had, produce is super fresh and the protein options are high quality,it's impossible to leave hungry as they just keep the food coming, the staff was warm and welcoming and catered to our lack of experience with a smile.
I cant say enough about how delicious the food is.
I drive over an hour to get here because its that good.
Going again tonight for my second time I can't wait!!
It's phenomenal.........period.
Quality ingredients, flavorful choice of broths (Malaysian, savory yum!). Biang Biang Noodles, a must-try.
Currently, best hotpot in the Bay — a surprise being in a Pacifica strip mall! Outdoor seating with ocean breezes and salty air, a highlight.
Honestly, a good place that offers a personal hotop plus being able to grill meat. Service has always been great, even if you are eating outside the heaters keep you warm.
Also having eggs as a bar option is a game changer.
Would highly recommend. Justkeep in mind that whole group needs to be present in order to be seated.
SUCH good value, good service, and quality ingredients! And I love supporting small business owners! It’s family run and we’ve been supporting Jason since opening and they’ve never disappointed! I stopped bothering to go to Supreme Pot or Grand Hot Pot after coming here.
My husband’s favorite desserts are here- fried donut w condensed milk and steamed custard buns
*The only reason we would go to Grand Hot Pot is for the karaoke hot pot rooms :P
Food and exceptional service is definitely worth the money. Yes, it’s pricey, but understandably so. I always tip generously because they deserve it. Small space, so it feels cramped.
Great convenient location, food selection, ample parking, and overall service.
There's a parking lot in the adjacent plaza (across the street) and ample street parking. It is also a block away from the ocean for a good wall after eating.
It is an a you can eat place that offers shared pot (traditional) and individual pot and grill option! They take reservations for parties of 6 or more. Reservation options for shared large pot (can split into two different soup bases) or individual pot/grill combo. Keep in mind that individual pot options are more difficult to come by as they go fast.
Don't miss the tasty appetizer options! Make sure to go for the ribs! Amazing amount of choices.
$35/person AYCE. You won't be disappointed.
